Special Containment Procedures: The Unidentified Interdimensional Object or just "UIO", as it is called among the researchers, is contained in a 3x3x3 m.
All electronic lights needs to be replaced with candles to keep it from draining the facilities power supply, due to its power draining abilleties.
If UIO is to be moved from its current location, electronic lights in the hallways has to be uninstalled and replaced by candles in order to reduce to possibility of a facility-wide power outage.
Description: UIO is appear to be made of a coiled up copper like substance, and have multiple faintly glowing gemstones attached to its surface when its "activated". It stands approximately 30 cm tall, 30 cm wide and weighs 25 kg.
UIO is not sentient, and does not possess any ability to communicate, and appear to be a fully mechanical.
It is immune to freezing temperatures, but have not yet been tested on temperatures close to 0 kelvin.
All oranic material who comes in contact with UIO in its ACTIVATED state to disappear immediately. After a disappearance UIO will discharge a high amount of alpha particles which some researchers believe to be a sign of interdenominational travel.
Additional Notes: Origins of UIO is unknown, its technology is currently to complicated with our current understanding of space-time.
27 may 200█, UIO was discovered in Antarctica by a team of researchers studying the long lasting effects of climate change.
The SCP foundation was quickly contacted after the researcher team´s captain supposedly "vanished into thin air" after touching the anomaly.
The captain was not recovered.

The D-class personnel touched the object without any repercussions, and was safely returned from the enclosure.
(B) D-class personnel was instructed to bring 7 rats to the object:
After the █th rat "disappeared", the object apparently deactivated and no more rats could "disappear" by touching the object.

Her objective was to appear in any of a long list of historical pictures from different decades if the UIO were to transport her back in time.
Then a AI would run an internet-wide facial recognition program (including The Deep Web), to find and match her face in historical pictures (AI-101):
Over 15 000 pictures of Dr.███ ██████ were instantly recognised by the AI, and almost all of them dated back to 22 November 1961 in Dallas, Texas.
On the picture Dr.███ ██████ can be seen in the background behind John F. Kennedy seconds before his assassination.
Dr.███ ██████ has been given the nickname "Babushka lady" online, and is a core element in countless conspiracy theories.

This is believed to be to be involved with the "19██ Time Travelling Incident" where a middle aged woman of Russian decent was contained by the SCP foundation, for an extraordinary high amount of alpha particles in her proximity.
