Chapter I
Yahweh looked upon the empty void with great contempt. In all views of this eternal space he had created, there was nothing to see but darkness. One of the few mortal emotions he could not overcome, loneliness, had remained even in his own little universe. He looked for no more than seconds before deciding to make a change. He brought his arms to his chest and let out a mighty roar. He had had his first son, Uriel.
"Let there be Light."
And so it was. The empty void that was his world became engulfed in things. Bright things, dark things, hot things, cold things, dense things, light things. Protons, photons, water molecules, zinc, copper, stars, galaxies, asteroids, and smaller voids. In his excitement for all this new information, Yahweh started naming everything he saw until there was nothing more to name. He then rested and enjoyed all the new sights he had made for himself to see.
Yet, as eons flied by like minutes to the God, he began to feel lonely yet again. Though his first son gave him company in the large universe, he still wanted to meet others. So, as any creative being would do, he began to devise a new project. He would create something animate. He would create something that could grow, become different, and think. He called it "life".
There was only one way to start, and that was to find a planet. If he had wanted to, Yahweh could have easily built his own perfect planet with a snap, but though he didn't like it, he was a scientist at heart, and a perfectionist if anything else. He wanted to be able to know that it was possible for the universe to have life whether or not he performed miracles. To know if it worked. All he would do is throw a few icy asteroids at a barren planet if he needed to, but that was it.
Yahweh looked to find a solar system with a planet that had the perfect conditions for his pet project. After mere moments he found the right planet, though it was unremarkable to the naked eye. It was a medium sized planet with a medium sized star in the center of a medium sized solar system. If he had been doing anything else, Yahweh would have overlooked even the galaxy it resided in. However, this planet had a feature that all the others around it lacked. It was at the perfect median temperature to contain life.
There was a problem though. This planet was covered in magma from a massive collision millennia before. This was easily fixable with enough liquids, however, so he quickly got to work.
