Pigeon infected by SCP-XXXX-W1, with multiple appendages
SCP-XXXX-G1 feeding with grease (darker)
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-G1 and SCP-XXXX-G2 are currently located in Cold Room 6B from Site-23.
Any instance found of SCP-XXXX that weighs more than 250g must be immediately eliminated by calcination, unless it is being result of a controlled experiment. Any instance found of SCP-XXXX that weighs less than 250g must be acquired for further research and evaluation before proceeding to its elimination.
SCP-XXXX instances must be only conserved long term to produce new test subjects. In that case, the instance must be contained in a cold room (with temperatures below -50º C, in order to slow down its metabolism) inside a glass container. To keep the instance nourished and its growing controlled, it must be fed with 20g of glucose every 92h.
No test should be done without supervision of the assigned containment specialist (currently Dr. Rommelier).

Description: As far as it is known, SCP-XXXX appears to be a parasitive trasparent slime mold. It can live in both aerial and underwater environments, and it can contaminate almost all kinds of multicellular life, even though its development is much more noticeable in reptiles, birds and mammals. SCP-XXXX is vulnerable to temperatures above 70º C and below -130º C, which allows it to survive in many of the extreme natural circumstances. In any way, SCP-XXXX does not have any kind of protection against fire, which is thought to be the best method of elimination of SCP-XXXX.
SCP-XXXX anomalous effect is shown in different ways, depending on which kind of living being is parasiting at that moment (See Addendum-XXXXTLΛ and Addendum-XXXXTLΣ for further information). However, in all cases, this property consits in the same. SCP-XXXX is capable of keeping alive cells from the host and reordering and using them for the benefit of the SCP-XXXX instance in exceptional ways. SCP-XXXX cells will keep the cells from the tissues it is interested in, and will consume the remaining cells to obtain energy and produce new SCP-XXXX cells. SCP-XXXX can not replicate the cells from the parasitized being, but can have complete control over them, as the tests have shown.
SCP-XXXX reproduces asexually. An instance will grow by mitosis of its cells, and in consequence, any part that for any reason gets separated from the instance body can grow independently and give a new instance in proper conditions. Lone cells are rarely capable of giving a new body without artificial intervention. More than 4200 cells are needed to form the essential structures properly so the new instance can develop. Fortunately, SCP-XXXX seems to reproduce only under dangerous circumstances, fact that prevents it for being a plague.
Another important property, related to the first one, is the resistance that SCP-XXXX and hosts cells show against any kind of pathogens. Biochemical analysis have proven that SCP-XXXX acquires all the inmunities from all its hosts, even if it leaves them, which makes it extremely difficult for any pathogen to infect neither it or the host. Biological elimination procedures succeed or fail depending on which inmunities the SCP-XXXX instance has integrated. This inmunities do not seem to be lost in the cells reproduction short term, but it is believed that some are lost after several generations. If the host becomes free from SCP-XXXX and survives, this one will not keep SCP-XXXX inmunities.
At the moment, The Foundation only posses 2 instances of SCP-XXXX: SCP-XXXX-G1 and SCP-XXXX-G2, which are utilized to produce test subjects (called until then SCP-XXXX-S#) by asexual reproduction. They are the only instances remaining that have been found in the wild (See Addendum-XXXXFL for Finding Logs).
Addendum-XXXX: Finding Logs
Finding Logs describe all the known encounters so far with SCP-XXXX wild instances and the followed procedures for containment and elimination.
Date of First Acquisition: 9/24/2016 by Agent Catherine Ulianov
Location: Korosten, Zhytomyr Oblast, Ukraine
Subject found: SCP-XXXX-W1 (Neutralized)
Acquisition Log: Agent Catherine Ulianov, one of the field agents the Foundation had in the Chernobyl Securing Programme (CSP) was staying in a temporary job house in that town. She heard some children talking about going in search of a "zombie pigeon" that one of them have seen. At first, she did not give importance to the story, but later, adult neighbours also started to talk about something similar. The agent asked for permission to investigate and the CSP Director Dr. Swenstein aproved. The agent found the pigeon after revising 36 streets, infected by SCP-XXXX-W1. The pigeon walked wrong and it hardly could move its wings. It had its neck broken, and a red appendage had emerged from it. This appendage remained erect and it eventually moved. The agent approached the pigeon to touch it carefuly, but as soon as she made contact with the pigeon, its chest broke. Incredibly, the pigeon could still move after this happenned. Then, the agent took a picture of the pigeon, put it inside a cage, brought it to her temporary job house and informed Dr. Swenstein. The instance was taken to Site-CSP1 for provisional testing and containment. Class-B amnestics were administrated to all the civilians in a radius of 1.5 Km.
Provisional Testing Observations:The pigeon was first dissected. The neck appendage still moved and some new smaller appendages emerged from the chest. The inside seemed to be covered with a transparent and viscous mass that also was present all over the appendages. The neck appendage was cut off for examination, and no reaction from the pigeon was observed. The appendage was formed by muscle fibers, bone, and some unidentified cells. The appendage resumed the movement during the examination. Testing concluded.
Neutralization Log: The subject was burnt to death in Site-CSP1 with no difficulties.
Date of First Acquisition: 9/25/2016 by Agent Catherine Ulianov
Location: Korosten, Zhytomyr Oblast, Ukraine
Subject found: SCP-XXXX-W1-1 SCP-XXXX-G1
Acquisition Log: Agent Catherine Ulianov had just brought SCP-XXXX-W1 to her temporary job house. She left the cage in the kitchen. While informing Dr. Swenstein, SCP-XXXX-W1 threw SCP-XXXX-W1-1 SCP-XXXX-G1 with its appendage, but the agent did not realise until she revised the security cameras. SCP-XXXX-W1-1 SCP-XXXX-G1 fed with some grease on the oven door, for some hours. The next day, Agent Catherine Ulianov, Dr. Swenstein and four Chernobyl Securing Programme Response Team (CSPRT) soldiers found SCP-XXXX-W1-1 SCP-XXXX-G1 in the kitchen. It had not moved, but it had grown considerately since SCP-XXXX-W1 appendage had thrown it. The instance was first taken to Site-CSP1 for provisional testing and containment. The temporary job house kitchen was decontaminated successfully.
Provisional Testing Observations: The subject seemed to be formed by the same viscous mass observed in the pigeon. The cells observed were also similar to the ones present in the pigeon's appendage. The subject did not moved. Testing concluded.
Neutralization Log: Neutralizaton is not planned for this subject, as it will be used for further research by order of Dr. Swenstein and Dr. Rommelier. Moved to Site-23
Date of First Acquisition: 10/31/2017 by CSPRT soldiers.
Location: Forestal area, Zhytomyr Oblast, Ukraine
Subjects found: SCP-XXXX-W2, SCP-XXXX-W3, SCP-XXXX-W4, SCP-XXXX-W5, SCP-XXXX-W6 and SCP-XXXX-W3-1 SCP-XXXX-G2
Acquisition Log: Since SCP-XXXX dangerous properties were discovered in the Sigma Experiments (See Addendum-XXXXTLΣ), several CSPRT units were sent in search of wild SCP-XXXX instances in the area. Only five infected pine trees were found. There were no leaves left. Instead, the SCP-XXXX mass was greener than usual, which indicated that SCP-XXXX was using leaf cells. No animals were observed nearby. Part of SCP-XXXX-W3 mass was taken as a sample (SCP-XXXX-W3-1 SCP-XXXX-G2).
Provisional Testing Log: SCP-XXXX-W3-1 SCP-XXXX-G2 DNA matches SCP-XXXX-W1-1 SCP-XXXX-G1 DNA in more than a 99.99%. Testing concluded.
Neutralization Log: All subjects eliminated by controlled calcination in discovering area except from SCP-XXXX-W3-1 SCP-XXXX-G2, which is planned to be used for further research by order of Dr. Swenstein and Dr. Rommelier. Moved to Site-23
Addendum-XXXX: Test Logs "Lambda"
Test Logs "Lambda" describe the Lambda Experiments (Λ-#), intended to know SCP-XXXX's no-anomalous properties.
Note: Test Logs "Lambda" have been removed by Containment Specialist Dr. Rommelier's order.
"The Special Containment Procedures are the summary of all those twenty two boring and endless experiments results. I sincerelly think that nobody needs and nobody would like to spend their afternoon in reading that. The information that every researcher of this thing must know if they don't want to have any disgusting surprise, is down below." Dr. Rommelier.

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be attached to the electromagnetic magnet in Chamber-I07 in Site-88 at all times. The magnet must emanate a magnetic flux of 8T of density. 2 guards must check the surveillance cameras into the cell from the Control Room-GC72 in order to report any magnet functioning failure and 4 must watch the Chamber-I07 gate at all times
SCP-XXXX is located in Chamber-I12 in Site-88. A single guard must be in Control Room-CI12 to talk to SCP-XXXX and attend its requests, 2 must check the suveilance cameras into the cell from the Control Room-GC77 in order to report any dangerous behaviour of SCP-XXXX and 4 must watch the Chamber-I12 gate at all times.
Chamber-I12 is a 7m long, 6m wide and 4m high chamber. The walls CONTINUAR AQUÍ with an electromagnetic magnet, in order to keep SCP-XXXX back temporary during a general containment breach event. SCP-XXXX should not be attached to the magnet for more than 6h to prevent it from entering a uneasy state.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an asexual humanoid 3.09m tall without skin. Instead, a transparent viscous liquid layer covers all its body. The bone matrix from its four limbs is apparently replaced by a resistant metalic alloy, which has been impossible to damage so far. The main muscles of movement are attached to the opposite extreme of the bone that are used to, which significantly improves limbs levers, providing SCP-XXXX of an extraordinary strength. Tendons and ligaments fibers can stand enormous shear strengths, which have also made impossible to tear them. The neck is also longer, due to the modified vertebrae that compose it. The rest of the body seems to be and work similar to the human one, as the DNA of SCP-XXXX and humans are apparently the same.
The liquid layer seems to rapidly regenerate all damage received by SCP-XXXX in its vulnerable parts (real bones, muscles, viscera,…) and it is constantly secreted by SCP-XXXX. It is compound by water and mucous cells, which are believed to be the causants of the regeneration effect. This liquid has been designated as SCP-XXXX-1 since its healing properties were discovered (See Addendum XXXX-1-UP). SCP-XXXX-1 has proven to succesfully regenerate human tissues. Between 25g and 45g of human cells can be regenerated in 1min administrating SCP-XXXX-1 on a superficial wound. Secondary effects have not been observed during and after this process.
SCP-XXXX is sentient. Its IQ is determined to be under 70. However, it is able to speak elementary English, as a five-years-old child would do. Its hostility is usually shown when it faces people that it does not recognise.
SCP-XXXX feeds exclusively with alive animmals. Attempts to feed SCP-XXXX with dead meat, vegetables and other kinds of food have ended in human casualties. It is believed that SCP-XXXX does not need to feed in order to survive, as it endured 1133h without being fed before the Incident S88-XXXX-B and no signals of starving were observed. Anyway, it is important to feed SCP-XXXX to prevent its wrath state. SCP-XXXX has only attacked to feed or when it has felt threatened.
