Description and History: SCP-XXXX-A is a mountain located in western █████, Massachusetts and is part of the Taconic Mountains. Its current name is Mount Greylock, after originally being called Grand Hoosuc(k) in the 18th century, and Saddleback Mountain in the 19th century. The origin of its current name is unknown. In 1831 SCP-XXXX-N, an observatory, was built on SCP-XXXX-A’s summit. SCP-XXXX-N was called Griffin’s Tower. During the nine (9) years it was
