Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Due to SCP-XXXX anomalous properties, no major containment can be attempted as of at this time. Should SCP-XXXX manifest itself long enough for foundation personnel to respond, all available agents are to be dispatched for containment protocol 7A-T4. Once SCP-XXXX de-manifests, clean up efforts are to begin. MTF Kappa-6 "Warlords" is specialized in handling the manifestation, and after effects of SCP-XXXX, and if possible, should be the first responders to said manifestation of SCP-XXXX.
Individuals exposed to SCP-XXXX with, or without protective gear are to be quarantined under the B.T.P 23-C (Biological Threat Protocol) for a period of at least two weeks for signs of infection, exposure, or contamination. Should an individual be found to be exposed to any form contamination, senior medical personnel are to decide on the best course of action regarding said individual, and whether or not steps should be taken to save the individual.
Bodies left by SCP-XXXX that are unidentifiable are to be incinerated by standard protocol unless otherwise overruled by senior staff. Foundation personnel or civilians found deceased after an SCP-XXXX event are to be logged, then incinerated if a cause of death was outwardly identifiable. If not, an autopsy is to be done to determine a cause if possible.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a classification given to an anomalous event that occurs at random intervals in random locations, being recorded on every continent, multiple islands, the ocean, as well as happening in local space. This event manifests itself as a breakdown of reality in a space usually two to four miles in size, though the largest event recorded encompassed a region of seventeen miles. These events involve consistently of the overlapping of multiple realities, the predominant majority of said realities being those in a state of conflict. Any humanoid appearing from the event is known as SCP-XXXX-A.
To a person caught in the area of SCP-XXXX's manifestation, the event will be perceived as a bright light for a span of multiple seconds, theorized to be caused by condensation of light as light existing in different realities becomes positioned in the same space. Objects that existed in the same position molecularity breakdown and fuse, leading to instances of buildings, vehicles, and people being partially fused together. This process involving living beings is almost always fatal, as after the convergence significant flesh and internal damage is present. For documentation regarding successful recoveries please speak to Medical Overseer ██████ █████.
The de-manifestation of SCP-XXXX causes the instances of separate realities to also de-manifest along with everything said realities brought. The exception to this occurs at seemingly random, as a variety of objects, people, particles, bacteria, and viruses have been left behind for no discernible reason. Objects in our reality also seem to be affected similarly, remaining in our reality besides the as aforementioned random exceptions.
The most common result of an SCP-XXXX incident is the leaving of nuclear fallout, which has on ████ out of ████ occurred, leaving foundation researchers to believe that most realities manifested by SCP-XXXX have had some form of atomic warfare conducted.
As of ██/██/2019, there have been a recorded fifty-seven biological agents that have transferred through SCP-XXXX, all of which have been successfully contained. Many of these biological agents have been discovered to be synthetic in nature, and are presumed to be linked to biological warfare in some capacity. These biological agents vary in intensity, nineteen of which have been classified as ME threat level.
██/██/████: First instance of SCP-XXXX recorded to have occurred. US military, as well as NDSAP forces present. US forces and NDSAP forces successfully contained and neutralized to maintain silence. Foundation commences an extensive regional search for a source of the incident, ending in failure.
██/██/████: First instance of SCP-XXXX that foundation successfully responded too before de-manifestation. One agent lost upon de-manifestation. Fallout discovered and successfully removed.
██/██/████: Instance of SCP-XXXX occurs on ███████ Airbase, leading to a state of emergency in the US town of █████. Media contained. Amnestics distributed. Casualties occurred and total as ██.
██/██/████: First instance of SCP-XXXX where foundation personnel discovers biological agent now labeled ██-████. Nepalese village successfully purged after a foundation medical team unsuccessfully attempts to ascertain cure.
██/██/████: First instance of SCP-XXXX materializing a reality experiencing a nuclear war, resulting in the █████████ █████████ █████'s complete destruction. SCP-XXXX severity increased from Safe to Euclid.
██/██/████: First Instance of an anomalous humanoid manifesting from SCP-XXXX, subsequently leaving SCP-XXXX and obliterating the Russian town of ██████. Said anomalous humanoid is now labeled SCP-████ and is contained in Site-██.
Addendum:
At this point, over twenty-three humanoids have been recovered from different realities after a SCP-XXXX event, and are in foundation custody.
Interviewed: Subject ███████
Interviewer: Dr. ██████ ████
Foreword: After having been left in our reality from a SCP-XXXX instance, Subject ███████ is recovered, quarantined, and brought for interrogation at Site-██
<Begin Log>
Interviewer: Hello, my name is Dr. ██████ ████. I'll be interviewing you today. Please, could we have your name?
Subject ███████: My name is ███████ █████████, commissar of the 4th dynastic legion.
<Extraneous Dialogue Removed>
Interviewer: So, tell me of your experiences regarding the… event you experienced.
Subject ███████: We are… were maneuvering through the metropolis ██████, on orders from the grandeur himself. Our mission objective is classified. As we came through the Hupil district, that is when we were overcome with a blinding light as if the divine himself had shown to us. It took a few moments before I realized that the light has originated not from the divine, but from the disgrace, witnessing many of my brothers…I'm sorry I don't know how to describe it. Trapped within…in? Trapped in the walls. The walls seemingly moved and encased them. Many screamed and suffered, while others died quickly. The squad priest was convinced that the █████████ had done a heretical ritual nearby, but there were no signs of the taint it would have left.
Interviewer: And what did you do after the initial period from the event?
Subject ███████: We attempted to dig out a few of the men trapped in the dirt, but their body fell away as we pulled them with from the dirt. I've never seen a man cut in half so perfectly. It was quite distressing for the squad. Moral was dropping, so I decided to keep the mission going and leave the men trapped behind. I could still hear their screams as we left… I can still hear them…
Interviewer: Please, it is very important you continue.
Subject ███████: Yes, Yes… we exited the building and… the metropolis was distorted. The building they… they didn't fit and many were intertwined in unholy ways. We walked around for about thirty minutes before encountering a group of feral beasts. They resembled bears, though they climbed on the building walls and sprinted much faster. We killed three?.. no four before we had to retreat. The squad priest was killed by the monstrosities, sure in himself that the blessed would protect him. He may have not been worthy, for his prayers had no effect to save his life, though it is not for me to discuss such things. After retreating back to the Hupil district, we set up fortifications in a bus that seemed unaffected by the… event. After a few hours, that was when the sickness started.
Note: The sickness he refers to is a strand of tuberculosis modified to be hyper-aggressive and highly contagious, labeled TB-A3.
Subject ███████: One by one my men died with their lungs in their hands, as if they had tuberculosis, but it much more rapid and deadly. It was only an hour before I was the last one left. Twenty-five men I had, all dead, including the priest. I prayed that the sickness would be spared from me, and I can only thank the blessed that it passed over me. Sometime that night, I was captured by… whatever force you represent. Now, may I ask my own questions?
Interviewer:Not at this time. Thank you for your cooperation. That will be all for now. Guards.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: Subject ███████ resisted detainment after being removed from the interrogation vehicle and was injured. He was transferred to Site-██ for further questioning, before being placed in indefinite cryo-stasis.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class:Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:SCP-XXXX is to be kept in an internal blast proof container in Site-██. Clearance 4 Personnel, as well as the Site Managers, are to be briefed on the 8-digit code for the code lock present on the case.
Description:SCP-XXXX is a small, perfect cylinder comprised of graphene and minimally of nickel-iron, standing at 13.79 cm (5.43 in) in height, 6.78 cm (2.67 in) in width with a circumference of 21.30 cm (8.39 in). When SCP-XXXX is placed standing up on its flat side, it will autonomously fall over on its rounded side even if it is placed on a flat surface, nearest to an edge of a drop. It will proceed to roll towards the edge of the surface it is on and drops off of it. If SCP-XXXX is placed in a stand that prevents it from tipping, it will remain upright.
When SCP-XXXX falls from a height of a distance of at least 8.13 cm (3.2 ft), if it impacts any surface regardless if that surface is hard or soft in nature, it will create an explosion of an equivalent of 7.30 kg (16.1 lb) of TNT or 6.58 kg (14.5 lb) of military-grade C4. The cylinder will be unharmed after the detonation and will remain perfectly cylindrical.
SCP-XXXX was recovered in an abandoned mine shaft in ██████, CA, USA After multiple detonations were reported coming from the mine-shaft. Local law enforcement investigated the mine-shaft, later calling the FBI when they were unable to access the lower section of the mine as the access tunnel was damaged and too unstable to navigate without proper equipment. The FBI accessed the tunnel where SCP-XXXX was discovered. The events after its discovery are believed to have happened as an FBI agent either dropped SCP-XXXX or set it on a surface. Two FBI agents were killed, and seven others injured. The foundation was alerted of the incident by agent ██████ ████, who was embedded in the FBI dispatch team. The cylinder was later recovered with by a foundation bomb retrieval team, which only sustained three injuries and no deaths in acquiring SCP-XXXX.
Addendum: While during breach incident 5A-Ola, Agent ███████ ██████ was commemorated for taking SCP-XXXX and physically throwing it at SCP-████ and stopping SCP-████'s escape attempt, SCP-XXXX is not to be used as an explosive weapon under any circumstance. The subsequent locating of SCP-XXXX after 5A-Ola resulted in multiple floors of Site-██ being damaged after it rolled down thirteen separate stories of Site-██ when it accessed an emergency stairwell. Future instances of using SCP-XXXX improperly will result in disciplinary action.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: A twenty miles radius has been established surrounding the lighthouse which is patrolled by foundation naval personnel, as well as the [Redacted] Navy.
Conversation with inhabitants of SCP-XXXX is strictly forbidden after Incident 2B. Any personnal found to be in contact are to be terminated.
During O-Class events, any entities escaping from the containment zone are to be terminated with extreme prejudice. Use of larger munitions such as cruise missiles, ICBM's, or [Redacted] is to be authorized by the Site administrator or by an O5-Council Member in an event the Site administrator has been deceased by the O-Class event.
During O-Class events, any temporal or reality breaking anomalies are to be reported, and foundation forces are to retreat to the twenty-mile radius until such an anomaly ends. No recovery efforts are to be made for personnel lost in the initial event.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a lighthouse situated in the [Redacted] Sea, constructed over a seamount at latitude and longitude [Redacted]. SCP-XXXX's base building material is comprised of concrete, steel, and of an unidentified radioactive material. During O-Class events, however, the material has been changed to a varying degree of other materials and substances, including but not limited too: A plethora of wood types, other types of metal and identified radioactive elements, bone, tissue, frozen water, solid oxygen, etc (For a complete list contact [Redacted] at site [Redacted] or [Redacted]). When in a base state, SCP-XXXX is colored bright red excluding its concrete base which is not painted. SCP-XXXX has a non-functioning lantern, except during O-Class events.
Multiple shipwrecks surround the base of SCP-XXXX, including the sea floor beneath SCP-XXXX. Two confirmed plane wreckages have been found, though repeated attempts to identify them have failed. Two ICBM's has been recovered from the site and transported to facility [Redacted] during incident 4A and 4B (For a complete list of casualties, and equipment lost, please contact [redacted] at site [redacted] or [redacted]). A USO is embedded partially in the seamount at a depth of 627 ft and still has not been identified.
The lighthouse contains an estimated three hundred people, though how such a small structure could shelter, feed, and provide water for such a relatively large population is unknown. It is confirmed at least four of the two hundred plus people living in the lighthouse are foundation agents, as a result of incident 2C. At any given time, excluding O-Class events, multiple figures (usually wearing hooded robes) patrol the concrete base of SCP-XXXX, performing what researches believe to be maintenance orientated tasks, including: Removal of sea algae, Re-painting of the lighthouse periodically, and on one instance, the reconstruction of a partially destroyed section of the concrete base during incident 4B. Not much is known about the residents of SCP-XXXX, though due to observations of the activities of members on the outside of SCP-XXXX, a few hypotheses have arisen which can be found in the Addendum.
Addendum:
Incident 1A: On [Date Redacted], a figure wearing a purple hooded robe exited SCP-XXXX, and tossed a duffel bag (Later recovered) full of partially chewed human bones and melted rebar into the ocean. During the event, the other hooded figures stopped their maintenance and surrounded the figure. On the hypothesis of Dr. [Redacted], it is possible there may exist a hierarchal structure, though to what end is unknown.
Incident 1B: On [Date Redacted], immediately after the second recorded O-Class event, a group of persons exited the lighthouse, carrying another bound figure. Before foundation personnel could intercept, he was executed by the method of blunt trauma and tossed into the ocean. His body was later recovered though his identity has still not been solved. No explanation for this event has been postulated by researchers.
Incidents 2A-2C have been redacted on order of the 05 Council.
Incident 3A: [Redacted]
Incident 3B: During the fifth O-Class event recorded, a "living" vessel surfaced from the surrounding water of SCP-XXXX and proceeded to attempt a containment breach. After two hours of combating foundation forces, it was terminated by the foundation vessel [Redacted] when it fired a gauss round into its lower section. The resulting chemical cleanup took place over the next five days after the event ended. Remains of the vessel can be found in the storage facility [redacted].
Incident 3C: On [Date Redacted], at 3:07 PM [Timezone Redacted], a foundation patrol vessel, number [Redacted], driving past SCP-XXXX exploded spontaneously. All hands lost. No discernable reason found for detonation found though SCP-XXXX believed to be involved.
Incidents 4A-4E are redacted on order of the O5 Council.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: A five mile no man's land surrounding the island is to be held by foundation personnel under the pretense of a ongoing toxic chemical cleanup. The surrounding countries coast guard services are already notified of the "cleanup" operation and are to be fed status updates on the situation. Any interference attempted by the surrounding coast guards for any reason, are to be dealt with non-lethally, unless specifically stated otherwise by the site-manager. The same is to be done with fisherman, poachers, and/or non-hostile civilians ships.
Personnel stationed around SCP-XXXX are to be cycled every other week with new staff as to prevent prolonged exposure to SCP-XXXX, and given a physiatric exam on discharge. During testing procedures involving SCP-XXXX, foundation personnel are to be no less than three miles away from the island at any given time during testing. Foundation personnel stationed near the no mans land experiencing the more intense effects of SCP-XXXX are to be put under physiatric evaluation, and moved off site for further evaluation. Any personnel attempting to access the no mans land surrounding the island is to be restrained. If personnel are unable to prevent access within three miles of the island, no recovery is to be attempted.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a anomalous entity that has been referenced for nearly three thousand years as far back as the Hellenistic era, though it is speculated that it may have existed for more than 5000 years as far back as the Egyptian era. SCP-XXXX is a humanoid resembling a male or female depending on the viewers gender. To view SCP-XXXX safely, long range binoculars or film equipment are necessary. To male viewers, SCP-XXXX is always female, and is typically descibred as being physically attractive, while to Female viewers, SCP-XXXX is a male described the same way appropriate for the male sex. SCP-XXXX's nationality is always the viewers nationality(even using film devices both effects persist).
It is believed that SCP-XXXX emanates a attraction field in a estimated three to five mile radius. Subjects effected by SCP-XXXX will be drawn to it, though initially it is easy to resist if subject is explained of the phenomenon. It is to be noted that resistance to the phenomenon varies from subject to subject, and also the closer one would get to the island, the stronger the effect is. Continued exposure to SCP-XXXX creates the following physiological effects progressing in the order listed: arousal, forgetfulness, stress, depression, anger, and finally extreme paranoia. Usually during the final stages of the SCP-XXXX's effect on a subject, they will become uncooperative, and or insubordinate, and in rare cases become violent towards their peers, ending in them moving towards the Island SCP-XXXX is based on. Outside recording of SCP-XXXX when approached by a subject on the island, shows SCP-XXXX and the subject, moving deeper into the island. After a period of one day, SCP-XXXX will move back to the beach of the island. Any subjects sent for testing to SCP-XXXX are never recorded after the initial contact period, and subjects given radio equipment do not respond to requests for signaling in.
The island SCP-XXXX is located on, is in the [redacted] sea near █████, though records show the island has moved in the past in a abnormal matter not natural to normal tectonic movements. Ongoing research on this is proceeding, and as such the island has not been officially been declared anomalous as no evidence of it being so as been sufficiently proven.
