Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be held at Site█. SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a retractable Tesla cage ( with a base one (1) meter, by 0.4 meters, with a height of 2.9 meters.
The cage is to be made of one (1) carbon fiber-copper plate and one (1) titanium plate, each 2.5 cm thick. The inner plate is to be composed of 75% copper(this is to be weaved in “chain link fence” pattern, as detailed in Dr. █████ report) and 25% graphene. The outer plate is to be composed of 84.5% titanium if possible. If resources are not available, a 10 cm plate of reinforced steel is to be used instead. (Carbon fiber has been found to be a suitable replacement.
The inner plate is to be connected to a ground run generator and have no less than 300 watts of power running through it at any time.
Should power levels of the generator fall below 300 watts, a level 3 lockdown is to be initiated and armed personnel are to be dispatched to SCP-XXXX’s containment wing. Once power has been restored and observation equipment are running, the alert is to be lowered to a level 1 lockdown for 30 minutes.
If, at any time, SCP-XXXX is not seen inside its containment cell, a level 5 lockdown is to be initiated and all armed personnel are to patrol the site and inspect all ventilation and elevator shafts. All unarmed personnel are to remain in their rooms until the alert has passed. At this time MTF ████████-█ is to be dispatched to any and all reports of SCP-XXXX.
Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX, conventional assault weapons often miss, and at times have no effect. It is recommended that a Tesla gate capable of delivering 50,000 watts is installed in every possible hallway, ventilation shaft, air-duct, and elevator shaft, as to prevent SCP-XXXX from leaving Site ██.
SCP-XXXX does not eat, at least through normal means, and does not need any form of food dispensary.
Any live tests dealing with SCP-XXXX must be cleared by the O5-council.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a large sentient humanoid. SCP-XXXX stands at 2.6 meters tall and has a charred black appearance. The only place where SCP-XXXX’s skin is not black is at its “eyes” and “mouth”, both of which are that of an ashy grey.
SCP-XXXX’s arms are 1.8 meters in length, and are bony and spider-like in appearance. Its hands are claw-like, with razor sharp talons. The four talons on three of its finger and its thumb are curved, with the third digit ( digitus medius) splitting in the center, forming a double claw. SCP-XXXX's legs are 1.9 meters long and closely resemble those of a spider, again, bony in appearance. Its torso and abdomen resemble that of a human, with the exception of its rib-cage, which is extremely prominent.
SCP-XXXX's face is completely featureless, save the region where eyes are normally located and where the mouth is normally located. Instead, two ashy grey patches are located at the “eyes”, and an ashy grey “mouth” which is in a permanent clown-like smile. While SCP-XXXX’s “mouth is usually closed, [DATA EXPUNGED]. It should be noted that when viewed by human and animal alike, these features induce paranoia and an almost phobia-like fear of SCP-XXXX.
SCP-XXXX has incredible strength, speed, and agility. SCP-XXXX has been known to reach speeds as high as 120 m/s (432 km/h) and it is theorized that its top speed is ███.█m/s (████,██km/h).
Unless disturbed, SCP-XXXX only “hunts” at night and, before captivity, was only seen at night. Because of this, SCP-XXXX was thought to be nocturnal, but this is not the case. SCP-XXXX does not sleep and does not seem to need rest. SCP-XXXX does not eat, and lacks the means of doing so. The reason for this is unknown, but the popular theory states that SCP-XXXX gathers electrical energy from its surroundings. This might explain why it only “hunts” at night, and why lights seem to dim wherever SCP-XXXX is located.
When SCP-XXXX hunts, it stays out of sight, or blends in with dark surroundings, allowing its prey to catch glimpses of its face in the dark. This effectively drives its prey into severe paranoia, making them hesitate before turning a corner, frequently check behind their back, and jump at any sudden movement and sounds.
When SCP-XXXX is finished playing with its catch, it will catch them off guard, attack them, and ultimately kill them. The methods of catching its prey off guard vary, but always consist of its extreme speed to knock into prey, or slowly exposing itself around a corner, effectively paralyzing its prey with fear. The methods of killing its prey also vary, but always include skinning the host, [DATA EXPUNGED], disembowelment, decapitation, dismemberment, and [DATA EXPUNGED].
SCP-XXXX is known to utilize air ducts, elevator shafts, and ventilation shafts to escape out of view, or to enter a room. It is not known how this is possible, as many of these are seemingly too small for the size of SCP-XXXX.
A request has been sent to the O5 council to test SCP-XXXX’s abilities and is pending approval.
Origin: SCP-XXXX was captured by Foundation personnel on ██/██/20██, when SCP-XXXX attacked Site-[REDACTED], effectively causing ███casualties, and ███ injured personnel and causing the containment breach of 13 [REDACTED]. [DATA EXPUNGED], prompting use of [REDACTED], SCP-XXXX then proceeded to [DATA EXPUNGED], resulting in the suicide of 30 personnel. [DATA EXPUNGED]. See Incident Report-XXXX-1.
Addendum: Dr. ███: I find it very interesting that it was even able to find Site-█ let alone cause a total containment failure to it. We should look into the intelligence of this anomaly. Maybe it has more than just hunger that drives it.
