Special Containment Procedures: SCP -5977 must be kept in a climate controlled 4*4*4 meter room at all times, the room must be 10-15 degrees celsius at all times. The room is to be closely monitored at all times by at least one trained personnel.
Nobody under clearance level three (3) is to be within 30 meters of SCP-5977’s containment area without express permission from a Site director or O-5 Council Member.
Description: SCP-5977-1 is a wooden box measuring 15*7*5 centimeters with a brass lock and key. The box is made of hickory wood, colored black with wood stain, with intricate designs painted onto the box with gold and silver paint.
SCP-5977-2 is a small aggressive scorpion/centipede like creature colored mainly black with small stripes of gold and silver. The creature has seventeen (17) pairs of legs as well as two large pincers resembling those of an Emperor Scorpion. SCP-5977-2 also has a large stinger similar to most scorpions.
The venom used by SCP-5977-2 is much more potent than any other non SCP substance currently known. Though unconfirmed, the only way to survive a sting from SCP-5977-2 may be immediate consumption of SCP-500. While SCP-5977-2 rarely stings, it has killed two (2) Class D personnel in previous experiments due to them carrying [REDACTED].
