Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a bullet proof glass case in an empty room, which should be monitored at all times. SCP-XXXX is to be emptied of all contents and refilled with warm, freshly made black coffee every 24 hours.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 24 ounce █████████ coffee cup that has no visible wear on it. Although the size remains constant, the design tends to change according to the current design of the seasonal cup.
When the coffee is left unchanged for more than 24 hours, SCP-XXXX causes the nearest entity1 to get an urge to find and take SCP-XXXX.2 This urge will start out quite weak, but increase greatly as time passes. Once the entity gets to SCP-XXXX and takes it, SCP-XXXX will embed itself into the flesh of the entity, further referred to as SCP-XXXX-2.3 Once the embedding process has finished, SCP-XXXX-2 will become enraged and gain large amounts of strength, killing everything it sees until it expires, either by external forces, or exhaustion. Once SCP-XXXX-2 has expired, it will explode leaving only splatters of blood, and an unscathed SCP-XXXX on the floor.
SCP-XXXX was found on March 20, 1997 in San Diego California. The search for SCP-XXXX started after reports of people mysteriously going missing in multiple places between San Diego California, and Phoenix Arizona.4
