Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4406 is to remain in Storage Area 4, at Site 39. only Level 4 or higher research personnel are allowed to conduct experiments with SCP-4406. Only O5 council members can authorize a use of over 4 cups of SCP-4406. Dr. Crassus has suggested a pattern in stores which SCP-4406 appear in, appearing in a 19 mile area in [REDACTED], U.S. the majority of the time. Mobile Task Force Alpha-4, designated "Pony Express,", are to monitor every major convenience store in and around this area before SCP-4406 is fully used.
SCP-4406 is not to be destroyed unless absolutely necessary, after incident SCP-4406-B. If any instances of SCP-4406-3 or higher breach containment, MTF unit Nu-7, designated "Hammer Down,", are to be called. Subjects with anger issues or heart conditions are not to be given SCP-4406.
Description:
SCP-4406 is a black 2268 gram container of vanilla flavored muscle building powder. The label is written in bold white letters, spelling out [REDACTED]. A manufacturer is listed, but the name is not found as any major corporation. It's anomalous affects occur when at least one cup is ingested by a human, hereby designated SCP-4406-1. The subject will drastically lose myostatin, and testosterone and other growth hormones will start being produced at a rapid rate. Results may vary slightly depending on gender.
This increases muscle mass and height, usually about 2.286 meters for subjects who are at least 1.8288 meters tall. This affect will happen within 2-6 hours of consumption. When a second cup is ingested, these affects will increase. Subjects will also lose brain cells, reducing intelligence. Organs will begin to enlarge, especially the heart and lungs. Subjects can grow up to 2.52984 feet at this stage, some subjects weighing over 146.964 kilograms, and being able to lift 5 times their body weight. SCP-4406-2 instances will also feel a considerable amount of pain, as bones rapidly increase in length, width and density. Muscles also become very thick, allowing for protection against lower caliber bullets. At this stage, subjects will be designated SCP-4406-2.
When 3 cups are ingested, subjects will be designated SCP-4406-3. Their mass will increase, usually weighing around 266.259 kilograms, and can lift 7.4 times their body weight. Subjects become far less intelligent, and very aggressive. They usually stand at about 2.95656 meters, towering over average humans. Muscles become very dense, and heart and lungs can be up to 3.8 times as large, with other organs being 2-3 times larger. When angered, SCP-4406-3 will enter a bout of rage, and will attempt to kill whoever angered it. If it cannot reach it's target, yet is still aware of them, they will usually have a heart attack after 7 minutes of this. High levels of Adrenaline and Cortisol are found in the bloodstreams of these subjects.
Direct engagement is not recommended, as SCP-4406-3 instances, as they can take many rounds of ammunition. However, due to it's short temper and bad focus, SCP-4406-3 can easily be distracted from a target.
if SCP-4406-3 breaches containment, a D-Class personnel is to draw SCP-4406-3, and draw it into the chamber used for testing. No testing has been done with 4 cups or more, however, Dr. Crassus suggests creating an instance of SCP-4406-4 to try to terminate SCP-682. Request pending.
Incident 4406-A: A Class-D personnel, D-7723, escaped during a containment breach, and came into contact with SCP-4406. The file on SCP-4406 was found with D-7723's fingerprints, and 3 cups were missing from the container. SCP-4406-3. MTF Nu-7 was called, and was able to penetrate the skull, killing D-7723. 16 [REDACTED] caliber bullets were found on various places around the skull.
Addendum: After incident 4406-A, SCP-4406 is to be kept in a locked container. Any Class-D personnel who are aware of SCP-4406's effects are to be moved from Site-39, or are to terminated, via conventional means or by testing.
Incident SCP-4406-B: On August 12th, 2[REDACTED], In the city of Springfield, [REDACTED], police were called to a house for a domestic dispute. An instance of SCP-4406-2 was found near to the dead body of a woman, the wife of the instance. and the SCP Foundation was notified. An SCP-4406 instance was located in the pantry of the home, and taken to Site 39.
