SCP-5068
Object Class: Appolyon
The following SCP is impossible to contain, and can only have it's effect stabilized.
Special Containment Procedure
SCP-5068 can not be contained. The only way to counter 5068 is for a cargo aircraft to cover the watercraft with fog so it can't be seen. The aircraft must be as loud as possible to block the ship's noise.
Any person or personnel exposed to SCP-5068 are to be terminated.
Description
SCP 5068 is a 18th century heavily withered ship. The ship is about 454 meters in length, 42 meters in width, and 78 meters in height. (Excluding the mast, which is about an additional 37 meters.)
The ship is surrounded with cyan, luminous fire balls during ''night hours''.Observations of the ship show freakish bodies of which trigger many phobias. Chants in a cult-like demeanor of a incomprehensible language can be heard within 7 kilometers of the vessel. Affect of this noise include extreme diarrhea, migraines, increased heart rate and uncontrollable levels of aggression and a urge of genocide. These symptoms also arrive from seeing the vessel.
SCP-5068 travels a course from Iberia to the Falkland Islands. This course has never changed, allowing the SCP Foundation's aircraft to easily schedule missions to cover up the vessel.
SCP-5068 doesn't appear to show aggression- or any will to interact with the outside world. It is noticed, however, that when Earth is exactly 48 degrees in a circle from the sun, the vessel disappears until that angle changes.
Test Log
- Attempts to change the ship's course to a area with less traffic have been made. We have attempted to speak to the ship's crew, but- no response. Are they even sentient? We also tried blocking the ship's path with a concrete structure, of which it passed right through.

Termination Test #1- Torpedo fired at SCP-5068's hull. Passed through the vessel.
Termination Test #2- Exposed 5068 to a extreme radiation. Nothing.
Termination Test #3- SCP-5068 is exposed to SCP-1765. █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ , the affects of which left a massive hole 64 meters in diameter on the starboard side of the ship.
