Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be untouched unless for research purposes. SCP-XXXX is kept in the middle a small containment room approximately five feet from wall to wall. During research procedures, Foundation personnel is required to have at least one guard on hand.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a medium-sized statue of a cat in a sitting position. When touched, SCP-XXXX begins to cry a red substance that many subjects refer to as blood. Lab results report otherwise. The substance was said to be red paint comprised of berries and other unknown mixtures, we believe, in order to frighten bystanders. The subjects also report seeing cruel images of themselves dying in horrible ways. Often by other SCPs.

When contact is severed, the subjects begin to show signs of paranoia and schizophrenia, claiming they know how they will die. After brief interviews, all subjects were administered amnesics. It was later found that even the slightest touch will have these effects, whether it be a graze of the shoulder or a tap of the finger. It seems effects will even show the subject is wearing gloves, or through other clothing, though lessened.
