SCP-XXXX is to be kept within a locked Foundation approved see though glass case located inside containment site-15 until further testing is conducted. SCP-XXXX is to be monitored regularly, and any movements made by SCP-XXXX are to be documented and sent to head the researcher of object-class SCP within Site-15, James ████████████. Under no circumstances are any foundation personnel allowed to touch SCP-XXXX unless said personnel are equipped with standard protective equipment. If any testing is to be conducted on SCP-XXXX, foundation personnel are to use the virtually assisted research apparatus to take SCP-XXXX out of it's case. Note to all staff that any damage made to said equipment is prohibited, and will result in all personnel involved being thoroughly reprimanded.

Any male personnel who state to hear voices coming from SCP-XXXX, or express a desire to go near SCP-XXXX are to be given class B amnestics, and sent to onsite psychiatrist Dr. Samantha ████ for psych evaluation. Any female agents stationed within site-15 who express feelings of extreme paranoia when walking past or stationed near SCP-XXXX's containment unit are to also be given class B amnestics, sent to Dr.Hall for psych evaluation and extensively monitored by other on-site personnel. If said female agents express feelings of extreme fear, paranoia, or display thoughts of suicide, they are to be given further amnestic treatment and moved to another containment facility.

Revised Special Containment Procedures: Following incident XXXXa, SCP-XXXX is to be kept within a humanoid containment cell made of a see-through alumina blend. + Description prior to Incident XXXXa and XXXXb 

[SCP-XXXX resembles a knitted scarf made out of red yarn. Notes taken by researcher James ████████████ and his team have determined that the individual strands of SCP-XXXX each hold a form of sentience, and are able to change in length and width. An exact size limit has as of yet not be recorded. Also of note is that, despite it's ordinary, dry appearance, researchers have stated SCP-XXXX contains a type of damp texture within each strand and when examined, said texture has near identical properties to that of human blood, save for an unknown substance present within SCP-XXXX. The exact contents of this unknown ubstance is, as of yet, undetermined.

Scp-XXXX was discovered after foundation personnel were made aware of an unusual 911 call made in ██████, California(see Addendum-1). Upon arrival to the residence of a Walter and Helena ███████, foundation personnel posing as local police discovered the bodies of the aforementioned individuals, as well as a young Hector ███████, who was reported to have what would come to be known as SCP-XXXX wrapped around his neck. Foundation personnel became aware of SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties after an attempt to examine Hector ███████'s neck lead to SCP-XXXX wrapping itself around and swiftly dislocating agent ████ hand. ]
