Class: Euclid
Description: SCP-XXXX is a deer-like figure first spotted in Western Siberia in small village outside REDACTED. SCP-XXXX appears weathered and malnourished, not dissimilar from a rotting carcass. It's hide on the sides of its jaw appear to have rotted away, making the damaged teeth behind visible.
In its natural habitat, the Siberian tundra, SCP-XXXX will remain in a still state for long periods of time, only moving when completely covered in snow. It is believed at this time that it does this to appear deceased, part of its preying method. It seems to have some capability to deter any predators that attempt to feed on it. At this time, it is not determined whether predators stay away in fear, or cooperate with SCP-XXXX. However, it does not deter humans. Currently, it is not known whether it does this intentionally or does not have the capability to perform this on humans.
SCP-XXXX has the ability to partially change its biological composition and change into what will now be referred to as an instance of SCP-XXXX-01. It will move its bones, changing into a humanoid entity. If a human was to enter within ██ metres of its motionless form, it will undergo transformation. However, as it takes approximately ██ minutes to completely change, it will use an large amounts of its energy to leap upwards, trapping its victim inside its open chest cavity. It will then quickly regrow its hide around its victim as to trap it. For the next few minutes, its victim will enter a state of insurmountable pain, most likely due to SCP-XXXX ███ it, before ███████. However, this is still not confirmed. SCP-XXXX has not been observed to do this to any non-human entity nor will it transform without the nearby presence of a human.
Special Containment Procedures: After testing, it has been found that SCP-XXXX enters a state of considerable distress when placed in confinement and will mutate into SCP-XXXX-01. As such, SCP-XXXX requires a 650 acre pen. It's pen requires a large amount of vegetation and snow, in hopes to emulate its natural habitat and avoid irritating SCP-XXXX. Foundation staff entering SCP-XXXX's containment are to have ███ authorisation. They must have on them at all times; a 10V shock prod, foundation chain suits and a blade 15 cm in length. Staff are also permitted to carry class █ kill agents, in the event of being captured by SCP-XXXX. It must regularly be fed meat items in large quantities. If SCP-XXXX does capture any personnel, it does not need to be fed for █ to ██ months.

Noteable Containment Breaches:
██/██/██ - SCP-XXXX entered a stage of considerable distress when SCP-2845 was within ████km of its location. It began to transform into an instance of SCP-XXXX-01, damaging vegetation and eventually breaching containment. It killed ██ personnel and left 12 injured. It appears to have a connection with SCP-2845. However, at this point in time, it is not determined whether SCP-XXXX and SCP-2845 are hostile towards eachother or not.
Experiments: Due to the containment breach on the ██/██/██, the foundation has deemed it necessary to determine the connection between SCP-XXXX and SCP-2845 to determine proper procedures when transporting either SCP.
Experiment 1:
SCP-XXXX was in its motionless form while SCP-2845 was introduced into its containment, under heavy sedation. After ██ hours, SCP-2845 began traversing the pen. SCP-XXXX immediately entered a state of distress, before transforming into an instance of SCP-XXXX-01 and moving towards SCP-2845's location. After ██ minute, SCP-XXXX arrived at 2845's location. They briefly stared at one another, before creating a series of noises. It is unknown whether they were communicating at this time. They appear to be calm within one another's presence. This is the only known instance where SCP-XXXX retains its mutated from for more than ██ hours. Eventually, SCP-2845 was required to be moved back to containment. However, foundation personnel promptly sedated SCP-XXXX before this, to reduce any chance of agitation. Upon regaining consciousness, SCP-XXXX returned to its motionless form.
Experiment 2:
SCP-XXXX and SCP-2845 were reintroduced, however this time they were to be monitored by ██ linguists in hopes to clarify if SCP-XXXX was producing any form of language. As soon as they arrived at each others location, they began 'communicating'. Our Russian translator was quickly able to analyse certain words and or phrases. для охоты, человек and Плоть translating to "for the hunt", "human", and "flesh" respectively. However, it is also worth noting that SCP-XXXX did produce other forms of vocality which were not able to be translated. SCP-2845 did not produce any coherent vocals that could be translated.
