Special Containment Procedures: Scp XXXX has not been directly contained as the speculated nature of Scp XXXX prevents true containment from being implemented. However it is recommended that Scp XXXX-a is contained within a padded cell measuring 2m by 2.4m unrestrained and observed a minimum of ten (10) hours a day via CCTV, the cell must contain strobe lighting using UVC light tubes and set to a frequency of 45 hertz. Scp XXXX-a may not be administered anti-psychotic medication or be restrained during episodes of paranoia and psychosis. Lever 3 and higher Researchers have full access to Scp XXXX-a observation equipment, however may not interact with Scp XXXX-a directly. All tasks requiring interaction with Scp XXXX-a must be conducted by no fewer that 2 D class personnel.
Should the researcher(s) or security staff observe optical and auditory hallucinations together with interference of electrical equipment (flickering lights, static on screens and de-tuning of radio equipment) whilst within research sites containing Scp XXXX-a, they must report to their superior for further study (the affected personnel are now considered to be another Scp XXXX-a)
Until correct containment procedures are developed, Scp XXXX shall remain Keter class. However, this may be downgraded to euclid should a suitable containment procedure be discovered.
In the event of containment breach, all Scp XXXX-a must be captured and returned to their cells by D class personnel.
Description: Scp XXXX is described as a shadowy, near hominid creature approximately two (2) meters tall and long, skinny fore limbs ending in spider leg like claws. Scp XXXX body is described as emancipated to the point of visible vertebrae through the abdomen. Scp XXXX is said to have a white, featureless pottery mask in place of a face and is said to ‘melt into the walls and floor’ by the victims (named Scp XXXX-a)
The interaction between Scp XXXX and Scp XXXX-a appears to be that of a psychopathic nature, with Scp XXXX purposely taunting Scp XXXX-a, wearing the SCP XXXX-a until the correct time. Scp XXXX is speculated to prey upon those with sever schizophrenia of the paranoid type but has also been known to prey upon those who do not have the condition. Scp XXXX is speculated to select new targets by causing subtle visual and auditory disturbances to its prey. It is also said by previous victims that lights flicker and radios detune whenever Scp XXXX is about to enter a room. Although only Scp XXXX -a experiences this phenomena suggesting that Scp XXXX has cognitohazardous properties.
Scp XXXX existence was first suggested after several patients at [Redacted] hospital where undergoing treatment for self-inflicted injuries caused by bladed objects despite having zero access to the items. Patients also reported seeing ‘a creature’ within the same room as them and their psychiatrist (often cited as causing significant distress to the patients in medical reports). These sightings where dismissed as hallucinations and the patient returned to their cell.
Scp XXXX appears to affect each Scp XXXX -a differently in its physical interaction. With the injured and deceased having injuries ranging from [REDACTED] to [REDACTED], however the psychological symptoms are characteristic of psychotic distress. Scp XXXX -a undergoes episodes of panic and distress, yelling at Scp XXXX (it is noted that only those who are directly affected by Scp XXXX can observe it except in the method described below) to leave them alone and backing up into a corner before one of three scenarios occur; Scp XXXX leaves, Scp XXXX attacks Scp XXXX -a in a speculated feeding routine or Scp XXXX kills Scp XXXX -a.
Studies have shown that the description of Scp XXXX by Scp XXXX -a to be correct as tests using UVC strobe lighting cameras have been successful (despite the health risks associated with UVC to personnel). This however causes Scp XXXX to become aware of the researcher thus adding to the growing number of Scp XXXX -a.
All experiments to contain Scp XXXX have to date been unsuccessful except for 1 (see amendment below). Scp XXXX has been shown to be able to bypass all known security measures, even those used in the containment of Scp 106.
It has been theorised that Scp XXXX is inter-dimensional in nature, a creature from a higher dimension that can view all aspects of a three dimensional space. Should this be the case, it would explain why all experiments to contain Scp XXXX have resulted in failure.

Dr [REDACTED]: good afternoon [REDACTED] I see your wounds are healing well.
Patient: don’t you see the lights? They are buzzing! Its coming back for me!
Dr: I see that you are experiencing more hallucinations. I shall be increasing your dosage to 30mg.
Patient: oh shit oh shit oh shit! Its coming out the ceiling!
Dr: [REDACTED] can you describe what you see?
Patient: Fuck its right beside you! Can’t you see it?
Dr: what is [REDACTED]?
Patient: (incoherent screaming)
Dr: security, please return [REDACTED] to their cell!
(It is to be noted that the patient was sedated and returned to their cell. Later reports indicate that the patient was found deceased with multiple stab wounds and lacerations to the abdominal region, it is noted that the [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] had been removed with surgical precision despite the apparent brutality of the attack)

Scp XXXX-a: panicked screaming and pleading
Researcher 1 (R1): can D class personnel please activate strobe lighting
Note that the camera display begins pulsing with a violet hue
Researcher 2 (R2): what do you see [REDACTED]?
Researcher 2 is communicating with researcher 1 via a two way radio
R1: Scp XXXX is approaching the camera system. It… appears to know that we are watching it. Scp XXXX has now returned to Scp XXXX-a.
R2: what is Scp XXXX doing?
R1: nothing… it is just watching. Scp XXXX-a appears to of voided themselves through fear. What was that?
Researcher 1 starts looking around the room in a panic.
R2: what was what [REDACTED]?
R1: shit, it’s got me! I’m next! The bastard won’t take me alive!
Researcher 1 is noted to remove a capsule from their pocket and consume it. Within [redacted] Researcher 1 is pronounced deceased and the text terminated, toxicology reports indicate sodium cyanide being the kill agent.
Amendment 1:
Following experimentation with Scp XXXX-a 57's containment cells, it has been discovered that Scp XXXX can be prevented from escape with the application of a strong magnetic field (5 Tesla minimum) however, this is not viable for permanent containment, due to both the high costs of running and maintaining a magnetic field of that magnitude and to the hazard that it imposes upon staff at the site.
When first contained on [redacted] at site 31 Scp XXXX was unaware of the situation and it’s feeding habits where first observed. When Scp XXXX kills Scp XXXX-a there is an almost attention to detail, first the [redacted] is removed whilst Scp XXXX-a is still alive, this is what kills Scp XXXX-a. Then the [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] are removed leaving behind the other organs. Whilst feeding Scp XXXX handles the removed organs before raising them towards its head region. The organs then appear to carbonize and crumble. After feeding Scp XXXX attempted to flee. Upon realising that it was contained, Scp XXXX returned calmly to the centre of the cell and waited. Several researchers reported the hallucinations following this new event.
Scp XXXX escaped containment after a power surge resulted in a loss of power to the magnetic field.
Amendment 2:
Future attempts to contain Scp XXXX have resulted in new behaviours being observed in Scp XXXX. With each containment rather than feeding, Scp XXXX attempts to communicate via Scp XXXX-a. The event is fatal to Scp XXXX-a, autopsy reveals cause of death is [REDACTED]. It is advised that all recording equipment is destroyed after these events as to prevent the potential accidental creation of more Scp XXXX-a's unless authorised by O-5 council members.
With a suitable containment method discovered, future experiments will help refine the process and the rating for this SCP can be lowered.
