Item #: SCP-4143

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4143 is to be contained in Site-88 in a humanoid containment cell. Two (2) guards are to be stationed outside of SCP-4143’s holding cell at all times in the event of a containment breach. SCP-4143’s holding cell must be lined with 3-4 inches of fireproof material and must be under constant watch. If any breaches are made, before which SCP-4143 will be heavily sedated to stop the dragon-like apparitions SCP-4143-1 and SCP-4143-2 from materializing, whilst moved to a separate containment cell while repairs are made.

All personnel stationed at SCP-4143’s cell are required to wear fireproof material and are outfitted with army-grade gasmasks at all times; personnel is not allowed to have any sound-making equipment while within 10-15 feet of SCP-4143’s holding cell. Under no circumstances other than a full lockdown are the guards to leave their posts to prevent SCP-4143’s escape.

Description: SCP-4143 is humanoid in appearance, standing at 2.31 m tall and weighing 87.2 kg; however, the Foundation is currently incapable of studying its face and body more fully, as it is covered in what appears to be a traditional Japanese kimono and mask. Its skin shows no signs of pigment, being completely snow white with strange gray freckles with claws measured to be about two (2) inches long and one (1) inch wide.

In 1860, when Sir Rutherford Alcock first climbed Mt. Fuji, he was contacted by Foundation members who he told about a brightly-dressed monk who had helped him on his journey. The monk claimed to be from 663AD and told him many fantastical stories about the mountain, and the many animal guardians who protected this sacred place. When he left, Alcock claimed to notice that pink and blue cherry blossoms seemed to litter the ground he walked on, which later helped in the containment of SCP-4143.

SCP-4143 has two separate personalities’ codenamed; “[REDACTED]”, and “[REDACTED].” The Foundation is currently unable to tell which personality is in control without sending a living being into its holding cell. (Animals can be used in place of D-Class personnel unless stated otherwise by SCP-4143’s project director) The live subject has a 50/50% chance of survival. In the cases where the subject survives, after inhaling the scent of the unidentified substance SCP-4143 drinks the subject shows no signs of anxiety for [REDACTED]-[REDACTED] years.

When SCP-4143’s other personality is in control, it will offer the subject (will now be referred to as SCP-4143-01) a traditional wooden saucer of the unidentified substance. SCP-4143-01 will lose all signs of consciousness and drink the substance, after which SCP-4143-01 loses all signs of critical brain functions. The body of SCP-4143-01 will be left for 10-20 minutes before SCP-4143-1 and SCP-4143-2 will materialize and [REDACTED], effectively ridding SCP-4143’s containment of the waste.

SCP-4143 has shown a hatred of loud noises, and anything louder than a normal tone inside of its containment cell is very likely to set it off. Any personnel who enter SCP-4143’s containment cell for any reason is warned not to be disrespectful. Whilst in SCP-4143’s containment cell, it is to be referred to as a “he” to avoid a needless loss of life due to disrespect. The wooden teapot it carries is thought to hold an endless amount of unidentified substance, and SCP-4143 is very protective of said object. It is unknown if the teapot could be considered another SCP, but further attempts to study both subjects are being made.
