The subject will adjust the slider on the side of SCP XXXX to the required level before consuming approximately 275 milliliters directly from SCP XXXX. the subject will then wash SCP XXXX to remove any remaining fluid before drying and replacing into SCP XXXX's containment box. The researcher will then observe the intoxicating effects in the subject over the next 2 hours.

Experiment SCP XXXX-A: Researcher [REDACTED] and D-1592: Experimentation with non-alcoholic beverages.

D-1592 is an adult caucasian male weighing 75kg and has no history of alcoholism or heavy drinking.

Experiment #1 was conducted using distilled water. First the slider was set to "0" before D-1592 consumed the liquid from SCP XXXX. No Intoxicating effects were displayed.

Experiment #2 was conducted using distilled water. The slider was set to "5" before D-1592 consumed the liquid from SCP XXXX. D-1592 reported no change in the liquid's properties. Approximately 20 minuted after consumption D-1592 began to display signs of alcohol intoxication increasing for the next 30 minutes. D-1592 reported feeling about the same as consuming 2 shots of 40% ABV vodka. No lasting effects have been reported by D-1592 after the intoxication subsided.

Experiment #3 was conducted using distilled water. Again with the slider set at "5" D-1592 added 290mL of distilled water to SCP XXXX before then pouring the liquid into another glass and consuming from that glass. No signs of intoxication were displayed by D-1592.

Experiment #4 was conducted using distilled water. The slider on SCP XXXX was set to "10" before D-1592 consumed the liquid. Effects began approximately 2 minutes after consumption that continued to increase throughout observation. 17 minutes after consumption D-1592 reported feeing sick followed shortly by fits of vomiting consistent with the effects of alcohol poisoning. This continued for 13 minutes before D-1592 started violently convulsing on the floor before ceasing movement. On sight medical staff declared D-1592 dead due to extreme alcohol poisoning 35 minutes after the experiment began.

Experiment SCP XXXX-B Researcher [REDACTED] and D-1593: Experimentation with alcoholic beverages.

D-1593 is an adult asian female weighting 57.1kg with little history of alcohol consumption.

Experiment #1 was conducted using beer containing 6% ABV. The slider on SCP XXXX was set to "0" before consumption by D-1593. No signs or symptoms of intoxication were reported by D-1593.

Experiment #2 was conducted using beer containing 6% ABV. The slider on SCP XXXX was set to "3" before consumption by D-1593. Approximately 60 minutes after consumption D-1593 reported feeling slightly intoxicated. This effect lasted 45 minutes before subsiding with no lasting effects.

Experiment #3 was conducted using beer containing 6% ABV. The slider on SCP XXXX was set to "6" before consumption by D-1593. D-1593 began exhibiting symptoms of intoxication approximately 25 minutes after consumption. These symptoms continued to increase in severity for 35 minutes until the symptoms stabilized. D-1593 reported feeling "extremely drunk" for the next 45 minutes before reporting quickly feeling more sober. The symptoms of intoxication quickly subsided approximately 105 minutes after consumption. No lasting effects were reported other than a minor headache that subsided after a few hours.

Experiment #4 was conducted using vodka containing 40% ABV. The slider on SCP XXXX was set to "0" before consumption by D-1593. No signs or symptoms of intoxication were reported by D-1593. D-1593 noted that while the liquid still tasted like vodka, it did not have any burn commonly associated with alcohol.

Experiment #5 was conducted using vodka containing 40% ABV. The slider on SCP XXXX was set to "3" before consumption by D-1593. D-1593 reported feeling slightly intoxicated approximately to the same level as when the beer was consumed at the same slider setting.

Incident Report SCP XXXX - 1: Staff member [Redacted] after learning about the properties of SCP XXXX broke into the room containing SCP XXXX setting off alarms in the process. Responding security personnel found the staff member holding SCP XXXX with the dial set to "10" while. Security personnel reported hearing the staff member saying "Why is security responding to me being in here? I'm not the first person to use this for fun." Before the staff member was able to be restrained and brought into custody they drank approximately 300 milliliters of liquid. The staff member was pronounced dead upon arrival of medical staff. To ensure no further incidents, amendments have been made to the containment procedures.
