Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5424 must be kept under constant surveillance at all times. Any and all civilians are not permitted inside of SCP-5424 under any circumstances. Electric chain-link fences are to be active and form a 300x300 meter barrier around SCP-5424 at all times. Testing is permitted during daylight hours of 0600-1700 hours. All personnel within 350 meters of SCP-5424 must have extensive psychological training. Staff rotated off patrol of SCP-5424 must undergo a psychological evaluation before they return to work. Staff within 25 meters of SCP-5424 must have noise cancelling headphones. If one is exposed to the speech and coercion of SCP-5424, they must be immediately evacuated and undergo strenuous evaluation before being released.
Description: SCP-5424 is a colonial era home located in a baron section of the ████ in ██████, USA. The structural integrity of the home makes it appear to be unstable on the outside. The home contains multiple windows which are blocked via wooden panels. It is currently unknown if this was done by an outside force, or if this is an occurring part of the entity. The entity emits what is described as a predatory lure. Sometimes the voices of loved ones are heard, or the voices of those in need emit from the inside. D class personnel report a wide variety of coercion methods from parties in the living room, to visible piles of American Dollars inside the front door. Currently, Dr. Sallow believes the entity exploits an individual's electrical activity in the brain, and uses this information to display the desires of an individual. Currently, the only method of effective information collection is via unmanned drones and other surveillance equipment.
Upon entering the entity, reports indicate a warp of perceived reality. SCP-5424 closes off once a victim is inside, and the victim is exposed to a dark interior. The rooms of the entity each contain no furniture, and no wallpaper or visible light fixtures. All experiments and tests with SCP-5424 thus far have yielded meager results.
SCP-5424-1 is described as large humanoid figures, standing between 2.5 and 3 meters in height, and artist depiction indicates they resemble humans without the epidermal skin layer. Currently, not much is known about SCP-5424-1, or their gain in luring prey inside SCP-5424, but SCP-5424-1 is entirely capable of human speech, speaking to Dr. Sallow on many occasions (See Interview:SCP-5424-1-A). The entities appear outside the premises of SCP-5424 only in the subconscious of those in REM sleep within 300 meters of SCP-5424, and in the peripherals of those who have been within 300 meters for more than 45 minutes. The staff affected reported the continual sighting of SCP-5424-1 for 3 days 4 days 2 weeks 1 month after initial contact. The only known way of removal, is entering the entity, or by gaining a sizable distance, and waiting the 3 day 4 day 2 week 1 month period.
Addendum 5424-A: Site testing has been closed under authority of O5-4 after 16 Foundation personnel were lured into the entity, and 4 commit suicide after prolonged exposure to the entity's psychological effects, including numerous sightings of SCP-5424-1 upwards of 300 meters away from SCP-5424. The unpredictability of the psychological damage is requiring only the presence of D-Class personnel within the fence barriers at all times. All other vital staff members are located on base ██ located ██ km away from SCP-5424. Dr. Sallow commented on the lack of aggression from the entity after the incident. (See Incident Report: 5424-A)
Addendum 5424-B: On site testing has began once more after the incident on █/█/██. 15 members of staff have been dropped on the site, including Dr. Sallow, 9 security officers and 5 D-Class staff members. After 2 days, D-8345 was terminated under order of Dr. Sallow after a breakdown involving 3 sightings of SCP-5424-1. The entity appears to become more aggressive as time progresses, almost on a cycle, much like the human body's reaction to hunger. This hypothesis is supported by a described "agitated" period of the entity's cycle after the recorded evacuations, and being without prey for 24 hours. Dr. Sallow believes these periods of agitation, and hostility directly correlate with the more frequent sightings. A request was sent to expand the perimeter fence by another 100 meters. This request has been accepted denied indefinitely (See Interview: 5424-B-1)
Incident Report: 5424-A " This is Dr. Sallow, today's date is February █, 2018. Today is quite an unfortunate day, I regret to report that 20 staff have been lost to the entity. Of the 20, 4 were self inflicted gunshot wounds, or cuts across major arteries. Our studies have also rendered meager results, as those exposed complained of 'whispers, and distant screaming' within their REM stages of sleep. I have reason to believe this is SCP-5424-1's more intense methods, as it has not been satiated since at least a few months before we set up our perimeter. My guess is 3? I will never forget the screams that erupted the dark wooden walls. I tried to stop them, but they wanted the screams to stop… but good Lord, they had not."-Sallow's Log-Entry 7
An unknown amount of the victims bodies were spotted via drone 8 hours after incident 5424-A-1, they appear to have been mutilated, the only remaining samples were calcium deposits, and 4 metal fillings from dental procedures. At this time, identification is impossible. After this incident and the maternal leave of Dr. Sallow (see: Interview 5424-B-2), testing had halted for several months.

Foreword: [Dr. Sallow returned to work after a 3 month maternity leave, she seems eager, or nervous to be back. She paces around the room for minutes. Sallow had come to make a notion to open up testing on SCP-5424 and expand the perimeter fence by another 100 square meters.]

████████: Ms. Sallow, wonderful to see you. How are you recovering?
Sallow: Oh, it is going well, James is just the most handsome baby I have ever seen, but I think every mom says that (she lightly smiles and chuckles). I am recovering nicely, and should be ready to come back soon.
████████: Happy to hear it. So, on to the business at hand. Why have you called this meeting? Don't you have another paid month of maternity leave?
Sallow: Y-Yes sir, this about my previous assignment on SCP-5424, we lost some good men a few months ago, but I was close to a breakthrough, is there a reason I am being reassigned? I assure you that incident will not happen again. (She taps her fingers on the table, and peers at the CCTV)
████████:(He checks and briefly reads the file) Right, Ms. Sallow, we are reassigning you due to the nature of this entity's psychological effects. Given your current nature and hormonal imbalances, the last thing we want is for you to be harmed or even killed, we are moving you to a safe class SCP until you are fit to return.
Sallow: (She gets agitated) I am ready now, sir. I have advanced training specifically designed for this, I shouldn't get special treatment… with all due respect. All I ask for, is an expansion of my perimeter fence, because the first incident, I hypothesize, is due to our proximity to the entity in a time of agitation.
████████: Well, Ms. Sallow, we kindly ask you to evaluate these statements with a psychological examination, and then you may return to work next week as per usual. We will also be accepting your request to expand the fence, for the safety of the staff and yourself. The Foundation does not take these grants of funds lightly. I trust you will be wise.
Sallow: (She sighs loudly) Thank you, sir. I won't let you down, this entity is dangerous, but the potential scientific breakthroughs with this entity can really benefit the Foundation.

Closing Statement: Dr. Sallow proceeded to pass her exam, and the fence was expanded for the first time. Sallow was air dropped at SCP-5424's location on June 2nd, 2018

"Just when I think my research is going nowhere, sending in rats, mice, and even snakes, we finally have a breakthrough, I was able to get the entity to speak to me. I hypothesize it has finally given up on consuming me, and realized the mutual benefit in conversation. I am staying 30 meters away from the door, and only speaking in 30 minute intervals.
