Object Class - Safe

Special Containment Procedures:

SCP-XXXX is kept on site 42. The object is to be kept in a 0.3m x 0.3m x 0.3m steel safe. The safe must be at least 5cm thick on all sides and a number pad used to access the interior. The combination lock must be changed every other week and should only be known by the site director, his assistant and the head of containment.

Description:

SCP-XXXX is a 180ml Porcelain Sake cup. On the sides of SCP-XXXX there are 3 images of SCP-XXXX-1. The images of the entities are bipedal, have a rosewood red skin, 2 7.5cm incisors and the have 3 5cm claws on each hand. The entity always stays full of Sake no matter how much you remove from it.

Recovery Log:

The following is the set of events which lead up to the containment of SCP-XXXX.
It has been translated into English for easy translation.

January 12th 1945:

10:00 Multiple reports to the police in Hiroshima containing "animal" and "monster" attacks
10:15 Police arrive on the scene with; pistols, batons, tear gas and riot shields.
10:17 Police call for more assistance against 'Monsters'.
10:20 30 more policemen arrive on the scene armed the same to try and stop the 'Monsters'.
10:24 The last 6 policemen barricade themselves inside a shop and contact their station for military support.
Transcript of the call
Policeman: Control this is Officer Akio Nobunaga.
Control: What can we get for you Nobunaga?
Policeman: We need military support at ████████████ in Hiroshima, our weapons are ineffective against these things!
Control: What do you mean ineffective don't you have your guns with you?
Policeman: Yes we do! but we can empty a clip into them and they don't die.
Control: Understood. I'll inform the military
*Silence for 2 minuets*
Control: the military are on their way Nobunaga.

10:40: The Japanese military contacts the foundation for advice on the situation, but strictly states no help because of the war they don't want to appear weak.
10:42: The Foundation informs them that they should try and capture the entity preferably alive.
11:08: The Japanese military arrives on the outskirts of Hiroshima.
11:12: Japanese soldiers make contact with the SCP-XXXX-1 instincts. Results in the deaths of 5 soldiers and 1 entity, the rest of the entities fall back.
11:14: Soldiers confirm that guns have little effect and inform that there is more than one entity but press on to complete the mission.
11:15 The dead entity is loaded in the back of one of the vehicles with the wounded soldiers and taken out of Hiroshima.
11:31: Soldiers eventually reach the point where the radio call was made from and had several encounters with SCP-XXXX-1.
11:32: Soldiers enter the buildings in the area to get more information from the police but can not find them.
11:34: The soldiers meet back at their APVs to move on but are suddenly attacked by SCP-XXXX-1s jumping off of the roofs and loose contact.
11:36: The military confirm that they have lost contact and establish a perimeter around Hiroshima, including a naval blockade.

January 13th 1945

08:00: The Japanese contact the Foundation for their full assistance.
08:04: The Foundation replies telling them to keep the perimeter under constant armed guard from both sides and to arm some guards with flamethrowers. They also stated " The Foundation is working on something that should eliminate all of SCP-XXXX-1s in the area.

January 30th 1945

10:00: The body of SCP-XXXX arrives at the facility.

January 15th 1945

10:00: The foundation requests the body of the dead entity to be shipped to XXXXX for study.
10:15: The body is loaded onto a fishing boat and sent to the co-ordinates.

March 14th 1945

09:00: The Japanese have asked the foundation to hurry up as the perimeter is being attacked on almost a daily basis.
09:02: The foundation simply states that you can not rush science.

August 1st 1945

03:30: Reports are coming into the police in Nagasaki, similar to the ones in Hiroshima.
03:42: The military start moving up to Nagasaki and tell the foundation to give them aid.
04:12: The military have established a perimeter around the city of Nagasaki.

August 6th 1945

08:15: The Foundation drop the first ever Atom bomb on the city on Hiroshima.
08:17: The Foundation apologises to the Japanese Emperor about the delay and the damage the bomb caused as it was more than expected but the SCP-XXXX-1 seems to have been wiped out.
09:00:The Foundation starts looking for the source of SCP-XXXX.

August 9th 1945

08:20: The Foundation drops another Atom bomb on the city of Nagasaki.
09:00: The Foundation starts looking for the Source of SCP-XXXX.
09:20: The Foundation tells the Japanese to surrender to the Americans in part of a cover up.

August 12th 1945

12:43: The SCP-XXXX is believed to be located as it has images of SCP-XXXX-1 on it, it is in perfect condition whereas everything else is in rubble and it is currently full of Sake.

This test is there to discover the biological properties of SCP-XXXX
For the purpose of the transcript they will be known as Doctor 1, Doctor 2.
Doctor 1: Ok it is 10:42 AM HST. The subject has been dead for 21 days and shows no signs of decay. The subject is 1.904 meters tall, bipedal and has red skin which seems to be similar to snake skin and it has several holes in its chest where it had been shot by a Type 99 Arisaka. Where its hands should be it has three claws that are 4cm long which bend in the same way that fingers do. It also has an opposable thumb on each hand. It's head looks human like apart from the fact that it doesn't have any eyes or a nose. it has two small holes on each side of its head with a diameter of 2cm. Ok Doctor 2 open its mouth slowly.
Doctor 2: Ok opening its mouth now.
Doctor 1: Hold its mouth open there. It only has two teeth, they're both incisors they measure at 3.2cm each ah that's interesting it has two small holes at the bottom of its mouth where the teeth presumably go into when its mouth closed. And there's nothing else in its mouth, ok Doctor 2 you can close it now.
Doctor 2: Ok closing his mouth.
Doctor 1: Thank you now pass me a scalpel
(Doctor 2 passes him a scalpel)
Doctor 1: Ok going to make the first incision from the base of its throat to approximately half way down its torso. It's not cutting through easily so I'm going to apply more pressure, well they did say guns didn't work to very well on it.
(Doctor 1 applies more pressure and the scalpel breaks)
Doctor 1: Pass me the Oxy Acetylene torch that should cut through it easily enough and release the gas when I tell you too.
(Doctor 2 passes the torch head over to Doctor 1 and gets ready to release the gas flow.)
Doctor 1: Ok release the oxygen flow.
(Doctor 2 releases the flow of gas, and Doctor 1 starts cutting.)
Doctor 1: Ok starting at the bottom of the throat and starts cutting down towards its stomach. Its skin is just melting away from its body. Doctor 2 grab the tongs and help me peel it back quickly.
(Doctor 1 and Doctor 2 peel the skin away from its chest and stomach area and manage to peel away from most of the rest of its body.)
Doctor 1: Ok lets start examining this guy. Ok lets try another scalpel. it cuts open much like a normal cadaver. it seems to not have any organs on

SCP-XXXX was placed on a table in the middle of a 3m x 3m test room.
Dr.-: Ok D-3457 please hold SCP-XXXX upside down.
D-3457: Yess sir *In a sarcastic tone*
(The fluid stays inside the cup)
Dr.-: Ahh interesting. Ok put your finger in the liquid and see if any comes out on your finger.
D-3457: Whatever you say boss man.
(D-3457 puts his finger inside the liquid and pulls it back out.)
D-3457: Woa that's weird it felt wet inside there but its bone dry now.
Dr.-: Thank you D-3457. Ok now place SCP-XXXX back down on the table.
(D-3457 places SCP-XXXX back on the table.)
Dr.-: Ok D-3457 can you please stand against the back wall. As a guard brings in a Bunsen burner and tank.
(D-3457 walks to the back wall and the guard enters the room and fixes the Bunsen burner on the table, places a pair of tongs and some matches on the table and proceeds to walk back out.)
Dr.-: Ok D-3457 turn the Bunsen burner on and use the tongs to hold SCP-XXXX over the flame.
(D-3457 does as he was asked to.)
(After 33 seconds)
D-3457: Nothins really happenin here Doc. No wait it ain't bubbling but steam is coming out.
(The room quickly starts filling up with steam.)
D-3457:*coughing* Doc can I get outta here this *expletives removed* is making my chest hurt.
Dr.-: D-3457 you may take SCP-XXXX off of the burner and place it on the…
(D-3457 drops the object and grabs his head and starts screaming)
(Steam has filled the room at this point and is still coming out of SCP-XXXX)
Dr.-: D-3457 tell me what is happening in there.
(After 10 seconds of silence)
Dr.-: D-3457 what is going on in there I cant see through the steam.
(An instinct of SCP-XXXX-1 runs up and bashes it hands against the glass window.)
Dr.-: Ah so that's what's happened. Ok so …. how are we going to get this steam out?
*test log ends*

Incident Report

Incident 1

This incident happened 4 hours after the previous test.
Test lab-12 is filled with steam and contains 1 instance of SCP-XXXX-1.
21:52: 6 Guards move outside test lab-12 dressed in air-tight suits to stop the steam from effecting them. They are armed with 3 Colt CAR-15 Commandos, 2 M2 flam throwers and one Colt Python. The Guard with the pistol is moving an air filtration unit up to the door.
21:55: The air filtration unit is turned on.
21:56: The door to the lab opens and the guard starts to wheel the air filter into the lab. Suddenly he is pulled into the steam and there's a loud thudding sound. The guards fire several rounds into the steam.
21:57: The doors to test lab-12 start closing. But one hand on each door stops it from closing. The guards start shooting in-between the doors and the flame throwers put a burst of fire in the middle as well. and they take 2 steps backwards.
21:59: The steam is disappearing and it is getting easier to see into the room.
22:00: 2 instincts of SCP-XXXX-1 quickly rush out of the room and knock the 5 guards over.
