Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: A Faraday cage is mandatory in containing SCP-XXXX and as such, a Faraday cage that surrounds a containment cell no less than 20 meters in length, 20 meters in width and 6 meters in height is sufficient in containing SCP-XXXX. Airlock access should be built in order to prevent unauthorised access and/or escape from containment.
The access gate to SCP-XXXX’s cell is to be guarded at all times by two security personnel and regularly monitored by two surveillance teams located in rooms that are in opposing sides in the facility, furthermore, these surveillance rooms should contain the switches that open the access gate.
Physical access to SCP-XXXX is to be monitored by two level 2 researchers, one in each surveillance room. Both researchers have to activate the switch at the same time in order to open the access gate.
The nature of SCP-XXXX can lead to discrepancies during monitoring and if anything unusual is reported, each team should perform individual checks of each sensor and camera located in SCP-XXXX’s cell.
Individuals under the mundane effects of SCP-XXXX are to be referred to as SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-2 or SCP-XXXX-3 depending on the number of individuals affected, and should be monitored closely until the effects subside, however, individuals found to be aiding SCP-XXXX’s escape are to be referred to as SCP-XXXX-2 and have to be detained until, once again, the effects subside.
Description: SCP-XXXX is contained at Site-██. SCP-XXXX is a tall humanoid creature approximately 3 meters in height when fully upright and approximately 1.9 meters when crouching. The head and legs of SCP-XXXX are akin to those that are found on common Equidae and it’s arms resemble human arms. The only features that are unusual are its claws, with 5 bony and sharp appendages stemming from its palm. The appendages haven’t been observed to have joints and are serrated on the inside.
SCP-XXXX confuses and deceives individuals within a radius around it and will turn that individual into an instance of SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1s have been found to be:
- wandering the facility confused for a period of time (see surveillance log 0042)
- walking to the wrong destination (surveillance log 0111)
- spreading deceitful information (surveillance log 0025)
- ████████ (surveillance log ████)
The effects of SCP-XXXX takes some time to subside, once they do, SCP-XXXX-1 will regain their senses and return to their previous task.
Occasionally SCP-XXXX will attempt to breach containment using SCP-XXXX-X outside its cell (surveillance log 0237).
SCP-XXXX has been documented to manifest one to three instances of SCP-XXXX-1 or only one instance of SCP-XXXX-X, although a thorough investigation through surveillance footage have raised concerns in the possibility in SCP-XXXX manifesting a combination of both SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-X and/or multiple instances of SCP-XXXX-X
SCP-XXXX was accidentally encountered when the foundation were investigating SCP-3552.
