Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4196 is to be kept in a locker in Site-43. Testing with SCP-4916 is to be authorized by any Level 2 Class personnel.

Description: SCP-4196 is an inanimate 40 cm silver pocket watch bearing an engraving of a pentagram, along with initials reading S.E.. SCP-4196 always shows the incorrect time on the watch, causing individuals to change it to the correct time. SCP-4196's anomalous properties manifest when the time on the watch has been changed.

Once changed, the individual who set the time, designated SCP-4196-1, will begin to see SCP-4196 as if it were alive. Instances claim that SCP-4196 speaks to them about their surroundings and about their personality. After three (3) days, SCP-4196 will change SCP-4196-1's personality to mirror that of a man named Saint Evans.

After approximately one (1) week of SCP-4196-1 altering the time, SCP-4196-1 will physically change into Saint Evan. Everything to their face, body type, skin color, gender and personality will be the same as Saint Evan, designated SCP-4196-2. SCP-4196-1 will then split from SCP-4196-2's body, and will die.

SCP-4196-2 is a British male of 54 years. SCP-4196-2 wears a pastors uniform, and often carries a "bible" in his right hand. SCP-4169-2 is a calm and well-mannered man, only acting out when his bible has been taken away.

Interviewer: Dr. Styles

Foreword: There aren't any noticeable physical changes in this subject. So far, we've seen a little body hair, but that's it. We're just going to ask about their interests and give them a little survey to fill out.

Dr. Styles: Hello. After we conclude this interview, I'd like you to fill this out. Dr. Styles passes SCP-4196-1 a copy of, "What Kind of Celebrity Are You?" and a pen.

Dr. Styles: Anyway, when did you come into come into contact with the pocket watch?

SCP-4196-1: Uhmmm… I found it when I was cleaning out my mom's old room, and it was just sitting on the desk. I changed the time, and asked my mom if I could have it. I've been wearing it ever since.

Dr. Styles: Thanks. That's all we need.

Closing Statement: We just got the results on the survey we gave SCP-4196-1. Tomorrow, we are going to ask them to fill it out again, and then we are going to compare it to Saint Evan's answers once he manifests.

Foreword: In this interview, we are going to be asking about SCP-4196-2's origins, and how he relates to the watch.

Dr. Styles: Good morning, SCP-4196-2. Let's start off with SCP-4196. How did you come into possession of SCP-4196, and why does it summon you?

SCP-4196-2: You mean my watch?

Dr. Styles: Yes. Your watch.

SCP-4196-2: God, and our lord and savior Jesus Christ, told me on one fine day, that I was dying soon. God told me to seek out a man named Nastan, a man who sold pocket watches.

Dr. Styles: Please, get to the point.

SCP-4196-2: Yes, I apologize. Anyway, Nastan sold me a book, along with the pocket watch God was talking about. The book was called The Necromicon. God told me to turn to page 496, and on that holy page, was directions on how to become immortal! It was then, I made that holy symbol upon the back of the watch, and I became immortal. It is God's will that I am here, speaking to you, child of God, about this very miracle!

Dr. Styles: Erm… yes, interesting. And speaking of books and watches, how about that book in your hand?

SCP-4196-2: Ah, yes. My holy bible. I must assume this copy I own was spelled incorrectly, because it reads The Necromicon. I must keep it on me at all times. God told to never ever lose this bible!

Dr. Styles: Of course. Dr. Styles then motions three armed guards to enter SCP-4196-2's recording room.

SCP-4196-2: Hello, children of God. What are you doing here today? Just after this confession session, I was planning on having tea. Would you care to join m- what are you doing? That's MY BIBLE. Stop- I SAID DON'T TOUCH MY BIBLE!

SCP-4196-2 then proceeded to fight the three armed guards, resulting in one fatality by asphyxiation, and two injuries.

Closing Statement: We had to give SCP-4196-2's bible back, he was absolutely furious. SCP-4196-2 must always have the bible on him to prevent more fatalities.

Interviewed: SCP-4196-2

Interviewer: Dr. Styles

Foreword: Today, we are going to ask about why he was so violent earlier. We aren't going to ask about the book in his hands, I'm sure it's not anomalous and we have no way of keeping him under control either.

Dr. Styles: Hello again, SCP-4196-2. So, I understand yesterday you were quite upset about us trying to take your "bible".

SCP-4196-2: Well, it is my bible after all. God told me I should never lose it. Of course I would let the Demon out in me. After saying "Demon", SCP-4196-2 performs the sign of the cross.

SCP-4196-2: While I understand I might have been too violent, I assure you, the end justifies mean. I am never that violent, God would punish me. I am the most clam christian out there. I do not yell, I speak with passion of God! There is not a bad bone in my christian body.

Dr. Styles: Interesting. Well, we will be seeing you tomorrow.

SCP-4196-2: Great! It will give me more time for my six hour long bible study!

Closing Statement: We won't be seeing him tomorrow. We are going to try and find a way to neutralize him.
