SCP-0000.

location.png

A map detailing the location of SCP-0000.

Special Containment Procedures: Provisional Site-0000 has been constructed around SCP-0000, and is currently operating under the guise of a chemical waste filtration facility. Area-0000 has been fitted with high-grade memetic transmission detection and encryption technology.

Currently, no other means of containment are necessary.

Description: SCP-0000 is a sapient body of water, located outside of ██████, Nebraska, USA. Testing done on samples of water from SCP-0000 have returned inconclusive.

SCP-0000 is capable of telepathic communication with all sentient entities. All that have communicated with SCP-0000 claim that, they hear the voice of a female, theorized to be in her twenties, within their minds.

SCP-0000 has been reported to be polite, kind and empathetic. SCP-0000 has displayed affection for all living things.

SCP-0000-1 is a class of genetically altered Carassius auratus, also known as common goldfish. Individual SCP-0000-1 instances are not sapient and (according to SCP-0000) function under a "hive-mind".

Addendum 0000.1: Discovery

Documents describing a "woman of the lake" have been traced back to the early 1500s, though SCP-0000 only came to the Foundation's attention, during the late 1980s. On 9/9/87, SCP-0000 was approached by a group of students, attending the ██████ university.

Foundation operatives were dispatched on 11/9/87, and all civilians were amnestisized. Site-0000 finished construction on 7/10/87. SCP-0000 classified as SCP-0000 on 9/10/87.

Addendum 0000.2: Interview Log

Interviewed: SCP-0000

Interviewer: Dr. Leftway

Foreword: The following is the log of an interview of SCP-0000, by Dr. Leftway, on the subject of the history of SCP-0000 and SCP-0000-1.

<Begin Log>

Dr. Leftway: Good morning SCP-0000.

SCP-0000: Good morning doc! I understand that you have some questions for me?

Dr. Leftway: I do indeed, SCP-0000.

SCP-0000: Alright! Give 'em to me!

Dr. Leftway: The Foundation has some questions regarding your history.

SCP-0000: Oh…sorry, but…I don't really know my history.

Dr. Leftway: Could you elaborate?

SCP-0000: I don't know why I exist. I do know that it's not the water.

Dr. Leftway: Pardon me?

SCP-0000: It's not the water that's special, its the minerals in the dirt.

Dr. Leftway: I see. Do these minerals have anything to do with SCP-0000-1's irregular genetic pattern?

SCP-0000: Kind of…Some guy, dressed like you guys, released a bunch of fish into me. I could tell that they weren't regular goldfish, but they were still just fish. They started eating moss and stuff of the minerals, they stook a small portion of my psychic-ness and became what they are today.

Dr. Leftway: Interesting…what do you mean by "dressed like you guys".

SCP-0000: You know, white lab coat, goggles, things like that.

Dr. Leftway: Thank you, SCP-0000, you've been very helpful today.

SCP-0000: You're welcome, doc! Glad I could help!

<End Log>

Closing Statement: Testing done on the earth surrounding SCP-0000 is currently underway, along with an investigation into the ██████ Genetics Corporation.
