There is currently no method of containing SCP-8045. MTF Theta-19 "Vault Dwellers" maintain a presence throughout the American Southwest to deal with any reports of SCP-8045, and administer amnestic treatment to any individual(s) witness to an occurrence. Any instances of SCP-8045-1 are to be detained and questioned, with release at the discretion of Dr. █████.
Description:
SCP-8045 is a humanoid entity of average height, with all instances reported wearing a long, tan, trench coat and matching fedora. SCP-8045 wields a Smith & Wesson Model 25 firing an unknown brand of ammunition.
SCP-8045 manifestations always occur when an individual (hereafter designated SCP-8045-1) is in a gun battle with at least one other person. SCP-8045 will then proceed to kill any individual attempting to harm SCP-8045-1, before disappearing. Any attempts to intentionally cause a manifestation have been unsuccessful.
