The Email log at the bottom of this document is the initial discussion that led to the creation of this proposal.
This is a proposal for a specific entity grouping.
As of recent, we have been finding and containing anomalies that share one common feature:
A metal plate containing a "CSCPO ID" on them.
This indicates that there has been another organization that found these anomalies before us, and has categorized them by their own systems.
I highly recommend allowing a grouping of these anomalies and to open an investigation to find and research this organization.
Think of what we could learn if we find this organization.

Subject: SCP-XXXX ID plate observation
Hey, i noticed that the "ID plate" that's on SCP-XXXX(01) is extremely similar to the ones found with SCP-XXXX(03) and SCP-XXXX(05), right down the formatting. I'm suspecting a possible connection between them, and would like to request they be grouped. I don't have a good feeling about those 3…
NEW MESSAGE!
To: Researcher William Hayden
From: Head researcher Smith Devarte
Subject: Re:SCP-XXXX ID plate observation
I'll consult 05 about this. I'll send you the response they give. Until then, continue work as normal.
The 05 council has agreed on your suggestions.
The following actions will come into effect immediately:
1: All entities found with a "CSCPO ID" plate shall be placed under the investigation.
2: The investigation shall be open only to individuals with level 5 access and above.
3: Attempts to discover and contact this organization shall begin immediately.
Additionally, amnestics will be administered to all individuals who have known about these anomalies, with exception to approved staff on the investigation project.
Info on the merge
The primary site which housed the anomalies was located in Toronto, Canada, and served as their primary base of operations, up until it's destruction when the Chaos Insurgency raided it.
The Chaos Insurgency bombed the west side of the facility to gain entrance, and proceeded to plant bombs in certain locations while also freeing the anomalies.
CSCPO-01 was taken by them and presumably escaped when they were in Cleveland, as that is where it was found by the SCP Foundation.
CSCPO-03 was taken by them and presumably escaped when they were near the Green Bay area, as that is where it was found by the SCP Foundation.
CSCPO-05 was taken by them and presumably escaped when they were near the Ukhta area in Russia, as that is where it was found by the SCP Foundation. Why it was being moved to a different continent than the other 2 anomalies is unknown.
CSCPO-02 was destroyed during the attack.
CSCPO-04 evaded capture by fleeing.
"01" is personal term im using for it, and "04" is another character. everything here can be modified and changed, its still 100% WIP.
CONVERT THIS INTO STANDARD SCP DOCUMENT
Also, it was found by the SCP Foundation in Cleveland, and the CSCPO found it in Toronto, which is why they set up their primary base there.
A Virus traced back to an old Macintosh computer. The computer has no files on it, not even OS or system files, and it doesn’t have a battery or a plug, yet it still runs normally, albeit only displaying a gray screen with the mouse cursor.
The computer does not need to be on for 01 to take effect.
If anything is left alone in the room with it, all electronic devices that output visual or audio information will go to static, and all visual. After 5 seconds, everything will return to normal, but the Object that was placed in the room with the computer cannot be found.
There are Conditions for it to cause something to vanish:
1: the object must be within the same room as it.
1a: if you open a door that leads to another room, both rooms are counted as one, effectively making this condition “there must be a direct, unobsructed path to the target”. A “direct path” is a path of the size of the computer itself. If a hole in a wall is made so that the computer could not fit through it, that hole is not counted, and does not extend the room.
2: There must be no living creatures witnessing the object.
2a: if a sentient object/entity is being watched, both they AND the watcher are “safe”
2aa: if an object is being watched, ONLY the object is "safe"
2b: Physical contact with an object or person will protect the object or person being touched, but not the one making the contact. 01 appears to “know” which one is making contact and which one is being contacted.
The effect doesn't have a limit on range. As long as the conditions are met, it can cause it to vanish.
If the object it causes to vanish was emitting some form of observable wave or radiation, 01 will emit those same waves for up to 10 seconds after it vanishes, implying that 01 either “absorbs” the object or “steals” the effects.
It was only discovered to be a Virus after 04 referred to it as “That computer virus.” When asked what it meant, it simply stated that 01 was a virus.
Subjects within 1 meter of at least 20 or more grams of gold are immune to 01’s effects. Cause unknown. Suits lined with gold can allow isolated subjects to survive 01.
When asked about the reason why gold has these protective properties, 04 simply stated that gold “taints” objects.
While on, a sinister, simple smiling face will occasionally be displayed. This face has been deemed the “Face of the Virus”. The face will go away after a few seconds.
While nothing plugged into 01 will function, plugging 01 into another computer and turning it on will yield somewhat varying results, always extremely chaotic and will always end with the computer permanently displaying the “Face of the Virus”, however it will not go away unless the computer is turned off. Upon turning it back on, the Face will appear again.
01 Appears to be capable of movement, only moving when being unobserved, much like SCP-173. Unlike 173, 01 moves very slowly, at a measured speed of approximately 3 meters per second. What classifies as “unobserved” is very simple: no non-SCP organic subjects must be looking at any part of it. Observation through cameras or other remote means does not prevent it from moving.
When 01 decides to move itself, “tentacles” will emerge from the screen, and it will use these to support and relocate itself, either via dragging itself, or pushing itself off the ground and “walking”.
Physical contact with the tentacles is possible, as they do not emerge or retract instantly, allowing observers to get a clear view of them and even touch them, implying that 01 simply chooses to not move while being observed, rather than being unable to.
The texture of the tentacles has been described as “clear”, or “solid water, but not like ice.”
The tentacles seem to serve no purpose other than movement, as they do not attempt to interact with anything other than the surface 01 is on, though this is being investigated.
01’s vanishing effect can still occur during movement, indicating they are independent actions, and do not conflict.
Addendum: A small metal plate was found sticking out of it's disc drive. The metal plate had the words “CSCPO ID: 01. THE VIRUS”. The meaning behind it is currently unknown. See below.
Post Counter-SCP Organization merge:
ALL INFORMATION REGARDING CSCPO-02 WAS GATHERED AFTER THE DISCOVERY AND MERGING OF THE COUNTER-SCP ORGANIZATION.
Special Containment Procedures: The remains of CSCPO-02 can be kept in any container, without issue.
Previous containment procedures, which were used by the Counter-SCP Organization, were as follows:
CSCPO-02 is to be kept on it's wooden stand at ALL times, and is to be placed in a securely locked room, with careful watch from at least 3 armed guards. If the item must be moved, it must be with the supervision of someone who has worked with the object before.
Description: CSCPO-02 is the shattered remains of a small sphere, about 5 centimeters in diameter. It has an intact wooden stand that was used to safely interact with the object. The object is no longer anomalous and can be handled safely with no precautions.
Previous description, which was used by the Counter-SCP Organization:
CSCPO-02 is a small blue sphere sitting atop a wooden stand. The stand itself has no anomalous properties, save for being immune to the sphere's effects.
When anything comes into contact with the sphere's surface, that matter becomes "non-physical", allowing it to pass through other matter. Gases and Plasmas seem unaffected by the anomaly.
There is no way to revert the effect, and anything that touches the sphere inevitably ends up falling through the floor and into the earth's core due to gravity, where it presumably sits until it either dies or somehow escapes.
It was initially found in Brisbane, Australia, in a small shed near a private dock.
Post Counter-SCP Organization merge:
The object was destroyed when the primary Counter-SCP Site was attacked by the Chaos Insurgency.
A nearby detonation knocked the sphere off of it's stand, and it shattered upon impact with the floor, losing all anomalous effects in the process.
Special Containment Procedures: CSCPO-03 is to be kept in a 10 x 10 x 10 meter containment chamber. All personnel must wear cut-resistant suits when entering CSCPO-03's chamber. The chamber is to be inspected for any unusual or potentially dangerous growths twice weekly.
If CSCPO-03 breaches containment, either a remote machine or at minumum 3 personnel wearing cut-resistant suits will forcibly move CSCPO-03 back into its chamber.
Description: CSCPO-03 is a red, gelatinous entity weighing approximately 120 kilograms. It does not maintain a consistent shape, acting somewhat like a viscous liquid trapped inside a thin outer membrane. CSCPO-03 creates masses of organic growths in the areas around it, resembling living tissue, organs, and rarely bone, collectively called CSCPO-03-1. These growths are extensions of CSCPO-03 itself, and can grow on practically any surface as long as it is not hazardous or over 83° celsius.
When CSCPO-03 comes into contact with the plasma in blood1, either direct contact or through CSCPO-03-1, a chemical reaction takes place that causes CSCPO-03 to begin emitting an unknown kind of wave, which causes blood plasma to boil. The maximum range of these waves is approximately 400 meters from CSCPO-03. The time it takes for the plasma to reach its boiling point is dependent on distance from CSCPO-03. At 1 meter, plasma boils in less than one second, while at 400 meters it takes 3.4 minutes of continued exposure for plasma to boil. The emission of these waves is in direct proportion to the amount of plasma CSCPO-03 came into contact with, with 1 milliliter being equal to about 10 seconds of wave emission.
CSCPO-03 will frequently hang itself from ceilings using 3 special growths resembling tendons. In this state it adopts a more oval shape, presumably simply due to gravity.
CSCPO-03 is quite docile, oftentimes not even reacting to anyone entering its chamber, however it will attempt to use any available bony growths to cut the skin of intruders in an attempt to gather blood plasma. It has not shown any attempts to escape, but will most likely try to if given the chance.
CSCPO-03 was originally discovered in Green Bay, Wisconsin, after a man reported a nauseating smell around the Point Sable area. Authorities who investigated the area found several animal corpses, dead from an unknown cause. The investigation was called off, authorities stating that the source of the smell were the dead animals.
█ Days later, a woman reported strange red "things" growing on the trees and grass. An embedded agent accompanied authorities and found the organic growths on nearly everything in the Point Stable area. Class-A amnestics were administered to all witnesses and authorities, and the area quarantined, under the cover of a chemical cleanup. CSCPO-03 was found in a small cave dug into the ground, after Agent Jeffers noticed an elevation change in a DEM scan of the area. After CSCPO-03 was disconnected from CSCPO-03-1, the growths died very quickly and began to decompose at an accelerated rate, fully decomposing in 2 days.
Addendum: A small metal sheet has been removed from inside CSCPO-03, the sheet had the words “CSCPO ID: 03. THE SANGUINE” stamped onto it. How this sheet of metal came to be inside of CSCPO-03 is unknown.
Research into the origins of the metal sheet and the meaning behind the words stamped on it are underway. See below.
Post Counter-SCP Organization merge: CSCPO-03 was created in an in incident following the closing of a factory in Milwaukee. Security footage shows 3 teenagers entering the building, and proceeding to tag some of the equipment. The machinery was activated by an unknown source, and one of the teens was dragged into the machinery by a conveyor that caught their leg. 2 Hours later, CSCPO-03 emerged from the machinery and hung itself from the ceiling of the building before eventually being discovered by the Counter-SCP Organization 3 days later. Amnestics were applied to everyone who saw the growths spread across the area, and the anomaly was moved to a secure location. It eventually escaped following an attack by the Chaos Insurgency, and was found by the SCP Foundation in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The individual that was dragged into the machinery has been identified, and all samples taken from CSCPO-03 show evidence that there is no trace of any DNA matching the individual. It is unknown what happened to them or if they had something to do with the formation.
ALL INFORMATION REGARDING CSCPO-04 WAS GATHERED AFTER THE DISCOVERY AND MERGING OF THE COUNTER-SCP ORGANIZATION.
Special Containment Procedures: CSCPO-04 is to be contained in a 3 x 3 x 3 meter room lined with at least 5 centimeter thick Osmium lining surrounding the entire room. Normally, CSCPO-04 is allowed to freely roam the facility, and is allowed to leave the facility with permission from the 05 council. CSCPO-04 should only be forced into its containment cell if absolutely necessary.
Description: CSCPO-04 is a red, floating, non-physical 2d entity. FIND A DECENT WAY TO DESCRIBE IT HERE. It always appears face whoever is viewing it, no matter how many people are looking at it. Despite this, it does appear to have a limited field of view, as it's permanently perpendicular angle is, according to CSCPO-04 itself, "merely an illusion created by the mind to explain [it's] appearance".
CSCPO-04 is capable of passing through all solid matter, though the density of the matter does impact it's speed of passing through. For this reason, Osmium is used to contain it.
CSCPO-04 is capable of altering the functions of non-physical anomalies near it, with seemingly no limitation of how extreme the alteration can be.
It also has incredibly detailed knowledge on a variety of subjects, ranging from mundane everyday trivia to unexplainable anomalous events.
Addendum: As previously stated, CSCPO-04 can alter the functions of non-physical anomalies near it. This makes it an incredible tool to use to deal with any dangerous non-physical anomalies, and has already been used to effectively neutralize many Apollyon-class anomalies, though many remain unable to be neutralized due to either external factors or simply an inability to "get close enough".
SCP Foundation integration: Due to it's incredible knowledge and willingness to cooperate with humans, it was granted the status of co-leader of the Counter-SCP Organization. This status has been extended as of the merge, and the 05 council has granted it access to all high-security documents and knowledge of all SCP foundation operations.
CSCPO-04 is considered a very high status personnel member, and is to be treated as you would any other high-ranking personnel member.
Special Containment Procedures: CSCPO-05 requires a music box made in 1978 to be playing near it at all times. The song that the music box plays does not matter, only the year the music box was made is important.
Description: CSCPO-05 is a pale humanoid about 2.5 meters in height. It lacks any facial features save for two elongated eyes somewhat resembling scribbles. It has a circular mouth on its stomach area, filled with teeth and constantly leaking blood. The bottom half of its left arm has a large spike composed of an unknown metal. The spike is sharpened down to a single atom point. Its right arm remains organic until ending in a three clawed pincer.
The more dangerous parts of CSCPO-05s anomalous effects manifest when the music box is turned off. it will immediately become agitated and will begin to slowly wander the area in search of the music box. After exactly one minute without hearing the music box, it will stop caring about finding the music box, and will instead become extremely violent and hostile to virtually every living thing in the area. There appears to be no pattern in who it attacks first or the method. It will change targets if the current one is "too difficult" to reach, or if something else gets its attention. There is no definite method it uses to kill, It might dash straight for a target and kill them, or it might stalk its victim for up to an hour before moving in for the kill. It appears to make these choices itself, rather than on a conditional basis.
CSCPO-05s body dampens all negative or harmful effects against it by 93.5%, and regenerates at an incredible rate, making it incredibly resistant to almost all forms of damage. The metal in its spike is unable to be damaged by anything tested against it. This anomalous effect is present regardless of it's current state.
Addendum: A small metal plate was found lodged halfway inside its mouth. The metal plate had the words “CSCPO ID: 05. THE SILENT”. The meaning behind it is currently unknown. See below.
Post Counter-SCP Organization merge: CSCPO-05 was originally found in a cabin in Yugyd Va National Park in Russia. The cabin was completely abandoned and seemingly hadn't been used in years. The anomaly was found in the basement, next to a music box hooked up to wire leading to a battery, which in turn was wired to a solar panel outside. The solar panel was covered in an extremely slick material, most likely to prevent snow from covering the panel and shutting off the music box.
It was moved to a secure location before escaping due to an attack by the Chaos Insurgency, and was found by the SCP Foundation in Ukhta, where it had miraculously found a music box that soothed it, allowing it to be contained safely.
THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENT IS EMBEDDED WITH A MEMETIC AGENT DESIGNED TO KILL ANY UNAUTHORIZED READERS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
CSCPO-00 is, simply put, a machine capable of terminating anomalies.
After months of work, CSCPO-04 came up with a device that we could use to permanently clear reality of any "unacceptable" anomalies.
When constructed, we will be able to "feed" it information on "acceptable" anomalies, which it will ignore and preserve.
When activated, the machine will emit "anoversal-fluid" waves, obliterating any anomalies still remaining in our layer of reality, and will permanently lock out any anomalies from existing besides those that have been deemed "acceptable"
This is it my friends. We build this machine, and we can end these anomalies for good.
Basic data log of events. More detailed logs must be requested through the council. Basic logs are formatted through a simple "Date : Event" format, where the date is days since initial design was created.
0: Initial designs created. 05 Council consulted on what to do.
2: Council has granted permission to construct the machine.
3: Construction begins.
6: First minor power test. Machine successfully terminated SCP-████ with no negative results. Continuing to monitor. Power source fried, awaiting replacement.
7: Replacement power source acquired and installed, looking into better power sources to prevent breakdowns in the future.
10: "Acceptable" anomaly documents have begun being gathered.
13: The feeding system that enables the machine to read and identify acceptable anomalies is completed.
14: Work has been halted on the construction to focus on gathering acceptable anomaly documents. This is expected to take a long time.
20: A new system has been developed to assist in identifying acceptable anomalies, based on risk and effect classes.
32: Machine was badly damaged in a Chaos Insurgency attack. All sites have been put on high alert, and work on the machine has begun again.
34: Chaos Insurgency has been confirmed to have knowledge of the project. Some anomalies have been deployed to the machine's construction site to act as deterrents against further attacks.
35: Measures are being taken to prevent interference from other Groups of Interest.
39: Primary body of the machine is complete. All that remains is the secondary anomaly identification systems and the internal power source.
42: A major flaw regarding the wave emission system that prevents it from functioning beyond 100 meters has been identified, looking for possible workarounds or solutions. CSCPO-04 claims it "forgot to account for this reality's hueonic factors" as an explanation as to the existence of a flaw in the wave emission system. It claims this flaw could slow the project by months.
48: Chaos Insurgency raid on the site was successfully repelled.
55: Global Occult Coalition has agreed to assist in safeguarding the machine.
62: All known Chaos Insurgency bases were destroyed by an unknown source. Investigation pending.
64: 05 Council members ██ and ██ claim to be experiencing "brutal, unwavering headaches every time they think about the project". Research into the machine's possible cognitohazardous effects is underway.
67: Most acceptable anomaly documents have been gathered, and background systems are continuing to find any other possible documents that may have been overlooked.
72: A single Chaos Insurgency member was found wandering outside site ██, and taken in for questioning.
73: Measures to defend against the possible new Group of Interest "Collapsis" are being taken.
88: A solution to the emission flaw has been found and implemented.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a securely locked container. Aside from this, no other methods are necessary, as the object is entirely inert until manually activated.
To activate/deactivate the object, press the button with a sledgehammer icon, located on the bottom of the handle.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a large, polymer sledgehammer with an oversized carbon fiber head.
It appears to be heavily customized, as it contains many seemingly aesthetic details and designs, as well as a red and gray paint job. It is only recognizable as a Sledgehammer due to it's overall shape and weight.
The word "BAN" is written on either side of the hammer's head.
On the end of the hammer's handle is a red button, split into 2 halves. Each half of the button has a different function, and as such the hammer is considered as having 2 modes of effect: Banning and Unbanning.
The "Ban" effect is activated/deactivated by pressing the button with an icon of a sledgehammer.
The "Unban" effect is activated/deactivated by pressing the button with the icon of a list.
Activating one mode will deactivate the other, meaning that only 1 mode can be active at a time.
The object's anomalous effects only manifest when either of the "modes" are turned on via either button on the end of the handle.
Ban mode:
Upon being activated, the hammer's faces (the flat ends of the head) will begin to faintly glow a light red.
When one of the faces of the hammer strike an object with enough force (due to the mass of the hammer, the face only needs to be moving at approximately 5 km/h, though it's not completely consistent), that object is locked in it's spatial position, and the hammer will emit a voice saying "The banhammer has spoken". as soon as the voice finishes talking, the struck object will vanish, and it's name will be added to the list of banned objects.
The current user of the hammer is granted total immunity to it's banning effects.
This means that if the hammer was activated by person A and person B took the hammer and hit person A with it, person A would be spared from it's effects, as person A is considered the "user", despite not being the one wielding it.
The list:
(For future reference, the "user" is simply the person who most recently activated either of the hammer's modes.)
The "banned objects" list is accessible by activating unban mode (see next section). The name of the object on the list is usually the most common term for that object by the species of the user. for example, if used on a clock, it would display its name as "clock", as that is the most common term for that type of object by the human species. The language is entirely dependent on the primary language of the user. Care must be taken to ensure the user does not lose track of which item is which, as banning multiple of the same type of object will result in copies of that object in the list, with no indication as to which one is which. For example, banning multiple clocks would result in the list displaying many "clock" objects, and the only way to tell which is which is to keep track of which ones were "banned" first.
Care must also be taken to ensure clear knowledge of what each object is. A grandfather clock would show up as "Grandfather clock", and an alarm clock would show up as "Alarm clock" but a small, generic clock might show up simply as "clock".
Unban mode:
Upon pressing the list button, the hammer will enter "unban" mode. A small hatch will open up on the side of the hammer's handle, with a digital screen displaying a list of banned objects. attached to the screen are 2 arrow buttons for use in navigating the list, and a small button labeled "Unban".
Upon pressing the "Unban" button, whatever object is currently selected on the screen will re-appear approximately 3 meters in front of the user's current direction. (As indicated by torso angle.) It will always attempt to place the object on top of a floor, but if the floor is too far from the initial target origin, it will either place it in the air or will refuse to place it should there be no valid area to place the object.
The newly placed object will not have observed any passing of time between the initial spatial lock and being "Unbanned", and will retain their original orientation and pose.
Addendum: Due to it's ability to "Ban" all physical objects safely, and the ability to easily retrieve those objects, it has been considered a tool to use in re-containing escaped anomalies.
An ornate wooden clock, with all the typical features, save for the "12" being replaced with a "0" with a small glass vial inside the middle. When a subject makes physical contact with the clock, the vial inside the 0 will fill with blood from an unknown source, and a "bond" has been formed with the subject. Only one "bond" may be happening at a time. the subject will have enhanced physical and mental abilities, but the clock will begin to count down from 12 hours. (the 0 works as the 12 here). for every second the Subject is in contact with the clock, it will "rewind" the clock back 5 seconds, but limits at 12 hours from 0. The effects have no distance limit, and are only limited by the 12 hour timer. If the 12 hour timer reaches zero, the subjects mind is "removed" from them, and brought to a plane filled with red and black, where a clock can always be heard ticking. for all intents and purposes, that person is dead.
If the "bound" subject dies, the vial will empty, but the clock will continue to count down. upon reaching 0, nothing happens. other bonds cannot be made during this time, as the clock is "honoring" the previous bond. For every 24 hours that pass during a bond, a number will become red. (not FILL with red like the 0 does when the bond starts, but the number itself changes color.) once all 12 numbers have become red (starting with 11 and going down to 0), the 0 will empty it's vial and the subject will vanish, and the numbers will return to normal. What happens to the subject is unknown.
