Description
SCP - 4971 is a statue of a rat with Chinese symbols written around and on it. It might seem like a normal Object at first, but it's anomalous property shows when anybody takes a picture, replica, or artistic depiction of 4971. Any thing that contains a resemblance or relevance will be forgotten and lost.
Agents have had many troubles containing 4971 because of its ability. The agents always forgot the information and all written and electronic data was also mysteriously lost. After the recovery and successful containment of the object, all data were written in paper and sealed away far from 4971. Weirdly, the newly written data wasn't touched or lost.
Special Containment Procedures
SCP - 4971 is contained in a 1x1 containment room. The object itself is contained in a glass box and must be locked always. Because of a few incidents in which all data, including containment procedures were lost, personnel must be briefed every day of their selected tasks. All data must be also be further than 4971's "obliteration radius" of 40m.
