Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Must be placed within a 200x200x200mm lead-lined titanium unit, the container needs to be replaced every 6 months due to SCP- effects on the metal. The unit is to be locked with a titanium alloy padlock, and the password needs to be changed every three months, and the new passcode left on the desk of Dr. Kreg. To gain access to SCP- you must give a written request to Dr. Kreg, have level 2 security clearance or higher, and have a fellow staff member with at least level 2 clearance to enter with you to observe you're actions. SCP- is not to be held without the provided specialized leaded polyethylene gloves, any form of physical contact to SCP without them is prohibited and needs to be reported immediately to your partner. Eye contact is not to be made for extended periods of time, and if extended eye contact occurs inform your partner of your fault quickly and concisely. Instances of SCP- -2 are to be put into immediate quarantine, and after an extensive screening process promptly moved to ████████.
Description: SCP- is an ancient humanoid skull, with a turquoise that has grown in one large patch covering the maxilla and stretching around its eyes, along with having a misshapen flat fontanelle and frontal bone. The skull has the ability of fluent speech and projects it's voice into the mind of the subject. The skull itself is unable to be carbon dated, as the skull is completely void of any trace of carbon. Speculation from the staff, (as well as information from SCP- itself) SCP- was around during the early 1300s to the late 1400s. SCP- was found 32 km north of ██████ ██ █████ ████ inside a hidden underground temple of Aztec origins. The temple was found by a hiker, who wandered off-trail and fell through a small crevice that was overgrown by the various flora near the mountain. An expedition headed by Dr. Kreg and a team of researchers accompanied by MTF Zeta-9 was dispatched to the location with haste after the hiker had been questioned and their memory of the event modified. Zeta-9 was instructed to sweep the temple, which is how they came across SCP- . The skull itself was the only unbroken part of what was SCP- skeletal system (Henceforth referred to as SCP- -1). The entirety of SCP- -1, was obstructed beneath a large piece of debris that had fractured most if not all of its bones. SCP- was attempted to be secured, only to leave some of the crew members with intense radiation burns on their hands. After being brought in by a hazmat crew, SCP- was secured in what is now its home, Site-88. After extensive testing by various members of staff, it was discovered that SCP- will, when touched, transmit a large amount of external radiation to the area that was contacted. Dr. Kreg has also reported cases of Acute radiodermatitis, to those who've had prolonged exposure to SCP- , and has since created safety precautions that all staff must follow to avoid such things. SCP- will only speak once spoken to and attempts to break into the mind of the subject, and force them to become a follower of Mictlantechutli, effectively becoming an instance of SCP- -2, and engaging in such acts as the sacrifice of others, cannibalism, and violent/murderous behavior. They will go to great lengths to please SCP- which they refer to as, "The Lord" or "The Death God", and take saying the true name of Mictlantechutli as a sign of aggression towards them. Some instances of SCP- -2 have even attempted to break out of ████████ and abscond with SCP- .
Interviews with SCP- have proven very fruitful despite the adherent effects it relays.
