"The Unnameable" A.K.A. "The Break Boy"

NOTICE: THIS ENTRY HAS BEEN MOVED BY THE USER "The Nice Guy" TO HIS COMMISSION FOR SCP-5000 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

rating: 0+x

Item #: ████████

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: ████████ is to be contained in a size standard cell without any vents and made of non-corrosive metals. Paneling of the wall, ceiling, and floor of ████████'s cell should be replaced after three to five months of use. If paneling has been exposed to the unconstrained effects of ████████, it must be replaced immediately.

Researchers assigned to interview ████████ must remember not to mention [DATA EXPUNGED]1

If ████████ shows any signs of extreme stress, D-Class personnel should be sent into ████████ cell to calm it down and all personnel above level 3 security clearance should be evacuated from Site-14. Any available mobile task force should be ready to track down ████████ and any other on site anomalous entities in cases of site-wide containment breach. MTF's should be equipped with sound cancelling earmuffs and should take them off at no point before the recapture of ████████. See Incident-BAUF-1-A.

As a precautionary measure to prevent stress in ████████, routine psychological check-ups are to be done every three weeks to keep tabs on ████████'s mental state.

Directer of Site-14, Dr. █████ "The Nice Guy" Altera, is to be head researcher of ████████.

Description: Due to it's nature, most to all forms of descriptions of ████████ are impossible. The only known way for documentation of ████████ to survive is by not naming it in any way.2 Attempts to proclaim aloud names for ████████ have resulted in staff losing their voices for an indefinite amount of time.

████████ is devoid of any light around it's body besides parts of itself covered in bandages composed of unknown material3, Hereafter referred to as ████████-1. That said, ████████ is humanoid in shape, closest resembling a 9-year old human child with ape-like body hair. No other physical descriptions are possible.

████████ appears to be able to speak a variety of languages, almost all of them ancient compared to modern linguistics.4 Out of all of these, the language ████████ seems most familiar with is unknown in origin and throughout all of the Foundation's research has never been used by any society to date. This language may or may not relate to the symbols found on ████████-1.

If any matter comes into contact with ████████ that is not covered by ████████-1, it will immediately begin to break down. This effect continues until all material in contact with ████████ has been torn apart to the point of having little to no mass. This effect appears to be most potent on gaseous substances, but least effective on electromagnetic radiation lower than 250 gigahertz. Objects in the vicinity of ████████ but not directly touching ████████ appear to increase in their aging process, including [DATA EXPUNGED].

Addendum ████████.1:
Interviews conducted with ████████ must be used in conference rooms ████████-C5 and ████████-D6 respectively.

Addendum ████████.2:

[DATA DESTROYED]

Addendum ████████.3:

The following interviews come from the first month after ████████'s initial containment.

Note: The first interview had taken place before the SCP Foundation had discovered the need for conference rooms ████████-C and ████████-D. We hold no responsibility over Dr. Kunzelman's actions which were unprofessional and entirely his own. - O5-7

Interviewer: Dr. Jacob Kunzelman, Site-14

Interviewee: ████████

<BEGIN LOG>

(████████ enters the conference room, hands behind it's back. The significance of this, if at all, is unknown.)

Dr. Kunzelman: Welcome, uh… you. Don't really have much I can call you, now do I? Dr. Michaels can proclaim that enough himself. Well, he could.

(No response)

Dr. Kunzelman: So, your not much of a talker, are you? Well, we need to conduct this interview, so that really isn't an option. So, to start, are you human, or just humanoid in look?

(No response)

Dr. Kunzelman: (Straining words) Uh… I really do need you to answer these questions. I have more important things than this meeting.

(No response)

Dr. Kunzelman: (Showing signs of aggression) Can you please just speak so that I can get on with my day?

(No response)

Dr. Kunzelman: (Beginning to show extreme agitation) Okay, listen here. I won't have one of you [EXPLETIVE REMOVED] freaks making a fool of me! Believe it or not, there are more pressing matters than little new arrivals like yourself!

(████████ silently winces at the remarks made by Dr. Kunzelman)

Dr. Kunzelman: Alright, i'm done. (Dr. Kunzelman proceeds to get up from his chair) Altera, you take the kid! If you want to interview the little mute, then do it yourself.

(████████ begins to start wincing in an audible fashion. Dr. Kunzelman puts his hands on the sides of his head and begins to shake violently. Dr. Altera describes seeing Dr. Kunzelman's eyes turn red from internal bleeding while in his observation deck. Dr. Kunzelman falls to the floor after ten seconds of screaming incoherently.)

Dr. Altera (inside observation deck): Dear god! Call any on-site medic available! Now!
<END LOG>

Dr. Kunzelman had been pronounced dead on arrival when on-site medics had finally arrived at the scene. Autopsy revealed that his brain had melted into foam from the inside for a period of forty seconds.

After multiple tests regarding ████████'s anomalous abilities, Dr. Altera has theorized that the anomalous effects of ████████ include the sound waves that come from it when it speaks. This would mean that if ████████ speaks in any manner, then anyone who can hear should be considered lost.

After the construction of conference rooms ████████-C and ████████-D, the following interview was conducted by Dr. Stewart Clark.

Since this interview, Dr. Clark has requested to continue interviews with ████████. Request has been accepted. Further interviews are only to be viewed by Level 4 personnel and above, as well as Dr. Clark respectively. Further investigation is ongoing as to the role of [DATA EXPUNGED] in the anomalous abilities of ████████ is underway.

Addendum ████████.5:

[DATA DESTROYED]

Addendum ████████.6:

A note issued by Dr. Altera was released site-wide of Site 14. The following is a transcription of said note:

To all Site 14 personnel,

I have been hearing rumors of lax containment procedures for ████████ in my absences from it's containment cell. When I have confronted these personnel on their lack of appropriate behavior, they bring up the fact that ████████ has been peaceful in it's cell, and that containment breaches were rare at best.

To their credit, this is true. Incident-BAUF-1-A was a case of extreme stress in ████████, and recent psychological evaluation have concluded that repeated incidents are currently unlikely. But, to all my colleagues who even think about ████████, it's own actions are not why security is so important. It is the fact that it is in conflict with a god.

The full interviews between Stewart Clark and ████████ are for the eyes of Level 4 and above like myself, but in the initial interview, it told us that it was cursed with it's powers. That somehow, a very long time ago, it had angered a vengeful God, cursed to walk the Earth, destroying everything it touches. ████████ also told us something else. That it may have surpassed that God.

I am not a superstitious man, but I feel like we have started the doomsday clock. There are two options that I have come to terms with after reviewing all the notes on ████████ and this supposed "God" based on what the future of ████████'s containment could be, and neither of them are good.

████████ has mentioned multiple times that this God is in our containment. This would indicate that keeping ████████ in containment would result in conflict and a possible XK-Class "End-Of-The-World" Scenario. With all this in mind, option one is to release ████████ from Foundation custody. This would allow us to be free from fear of the two beings entering conflict.

This solution, however, is unrealistic. First, the O5 would never allow it to happen, as the goal of The Foundation is to protect humanity from anomalous entities and objects. If we were to release one of those entities, we would have to hold ourselves responsible for the possible death and disaster that would come from such a decision. Let's just say that the O5 don't like to deal with consequences.

Even if we
