Special Containment Procedures: SCP XXXX is to be kept in a 1m x 1m x1m steel cube with a small hatch for accessibility when needed. The containment cell should be tested daily to check for eggs or any kind of reproduction and if anything is located it is to be exterminated within 24hrs of being discovered.
Description: SCP XXXX is a 3cm, roughly the size of a thumb nail, parasite that was originally found burrowed under SCP ███ skin after SCP ███ was given a medical check up after acting strange for some time. Personnel have no idea how SCP XXXX got into the facility or into SCP ███ containment cell.
After Dr Jarvis was given permission to run tests on SCP XXXX it was discovered that it can burrow under any living creatures skin / first layer of tissue and make its way up to the brain, this can be extremely painful and distressing for whichever creature it is happening to, after 48hrs of being under the skin of a subject SCP XXXX burrows into the brain tissue and takes full control of whatever it is controlling, whether it be a Disposable class or another SCP, facility staff still aren’t certain how SCP XXXX gained access to the facility in the first place.
SCP XXXX has also been known to bite its victims before burrowing into them to make it easier. The venom it injects is said to be like taking a tab of LSD or another hallucinogenic drug that alters the mental state of the being it has been injected to.
