Dr. Kennings: Hello? Junior Researcher?
Jr. Researcher Clark: Yes! Oh my god! Please, you have to get us out of here!
Dr. Kennings Please calm down Researcher, can you tell me about your location?
Jr. Researcher Clark: Were on some sort of Island. The Island is pretty normal, but the sea isn't the sea, its soup!
Dr. Kennings: I'm sorry, did you say soup?
Jr. Researcher Clark Yes! The whole damn ocean is soup, chicken noodle soup!
Dr. Kennings: Researcher, please maintain professional language. Is there anything else you can tell me?
Jr. Researcher Clark: I think we're in a different dimension, it appears that where water would appear back home, here there is soup for whatever reason. Also, we saw what appeared to be the local animal life in the water, but they looked to be made of noodles, we haven't made contact.
Dr. Kennings: What about the Island? What can you tell me about that?
Jr. Researcher Clark: It's small, maybe a square mile or two, it's mostly jungle, but we found a large hill on the coast with no trees, and that's where we're camped. The island seems largely normal aside from a variety of plants I've never seen before. Can you get us out now?
Dr. Kennings: I'm sorry but we have no way to extract you yet, we still don't know the full nature of XXXX, but I assure you we're doing everything we can.
Jr. Researcher Clark: No! you've got to get us out, just recreate the experiment or something!
Dr. Kennings: Researcher, please contain yourself.
Jr. Researcher Clark: I'll contain myself when I'm not trapped in a can of soup!
Dr. Kennings: Researcher! Please! We are working on getting you out, but you must be patient

Closing Statement: Communication was ended with Jr. Researcher Clark after four minutes and thirty-two seconds, with her being instructed to shut down her radio, as to conserve its remaining power. An agreement to do a regular check-in once per week was made.
<Begin, Communication Log-XXXX-2>
Dr. Kennings: Hello Researcher? Please report.
Jr. Researcher Clark We're still here Doctor.
Dr. Kennings: Understood researcher, what have you learned about your environment?
Jr. Researcher Clark: What about Extraction?
Dr. Kennings: We're still working on it, now please report your findings.
Jr. Researcher Clark: Fine, we've recorded that much of the plant life here has adapted to draw their hydration out of the air, and the soup, despite its high salt content. We haven't found any new animal life other than the noodle creatures we observed in the sea, though we did find a large pile of giant noodles, it didn't react to anything, we don't believe it to be like the other creatures.
Dr. Kennings: Noted, Researcher. Please continue your investigation of the area while you await extraction.

Dr. Kennings: Hello? Junior Researcher Clark? Please respond.
Jr. Researcher Adams No, I'm sorry Ma'am this is Junior Researcher Adams. Heather is out in the jungle at the moment. I can report if you'd like though.
Dr. Kennings: Yes researcher, that would be appreciated.
Jr. Researcher Adams Well, we haven't found much new since our last check-in. We haven't been able to identify any of the plant life, nor have we discovered any animal life. I have concluded my theory on the nature of SCP-XXXX, however. I believe that we were pulled through an interdimensional rift contained inside of XXXX.
Dr. Kennings: Noted, Researcher.
Jr. Researcher Adams: On that note, extraction isn't possible, is it Doctor?
Dr. Kennings: As previously stated, all available resources are being utilized to get you out, Researcher. Please continue your research while you await extraction.
Jr. Researcher Adams: Understood, Doctor.

Dr. Kennings: Hello? This is site 118 checking in.
Jr. Researcher Clark: Clark reporting.
Dr. Kennings: Alright Researcher, please report.
Jr. Researcher Clark: We made a discovery this week! We have confirmed the pile of noodles we spotted is sentient. We saw it moving through the forest, it has assumed a quadrupedal form and we've estimated it to be roughly fifteen feet tall, and twenty feet long. We are planning to attempt contact soon.
Dr. Kennings: Noted, please report your findings in your next update.
Jr. Researcher Clark: How's extraction going?
Dr. Kennings: I am sorry Researcher, but extraction is still not possible at this time.

Foreword: Upon the departure of Dr. Kennings for maternity leave, all responsibilities were left under the supervision of Dr. Hendricks, who neglected these tasks including the upkeep of weekly check-in with Jr. Researcher Clark. Upon discovery of this neglect of duty, Discipline was assigned to Dr. Hendricks and Dr. Novock took over these responsibilities.
<Begin, Communication Log-XXXX-5>
Dr. Novock: Hello? Researcher, please respond
(Low bellowing can be heard in the background as Jr. Researcher Clark responds in an exasperated and frantic state)
Jr. Researcher Clark: Oh my god! Where have you guys been? I've been trying to check-in, but I wasn't getting any answers.
Dr. Novock: I apologize, researcher, Dr. Kennings has left on maternity leave and her position was neglected. I am taking the place of her former replacement.
Jr. Researcher Clark: You've got to get me out! Please! Adams and George are dead! The creature found us and it killed them. It's trying to find me.
Dr. Novock: Please compose yourself, researcher. I am sorry but extraction is not possible at this time, we haven't made any new ground on trying to safely open SCP-XXXX.
Jr. Researcher Clark: No! You have to try something!
(A louder instance of the bellowing is heard along with the what is presumed to be the sound of breaking tree branches.)
Jr. Researcher Clark: Oh god! It found me!
(The Bellowing grows louder and Jr. Researcher Clark can be heard running and screaming incoherently until the radio can be heard being dropped and communication is lost presumably to battery loss or destruction of the radio)
Dr. Novock: Damn it! Turn that off, and get all this cleaned up. I want that thing put back in the vault and experimentation on it halted permanently.
(Shuffling can be heard as the research team disassembles equipment and Dr. Novock can be heard as he exits)
