Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a custom made 2 m x 2 m x 4 m plexiglass-covered metal basin 3 m above the ground on scaffolding. Food will be put into a two-door system to prevent SCP-XXXX from leaving its basin. Feeding must happen once every two weeks with the food weighing ten (10) kilograms and can vary from any organic material. The food is to be dropped into a pipe the first door will open until the food hits the second door. The first door will then be closed and the second one will be opened, allowing the food to enter SCP-XXXX's colony. If experimenting, moving or repairing is conducted, SCP-XXXX is to be securely poured into a plastic or metal container through a nozzle near the base of the basin. The container is not to be removed from the base until pouring has successfully stopped. After testing, cleansing, moving or repairing has finished, all containers other-than the original containment container-must be decontaminated and then incinerated.
If one has been infected with SCP-XXXX, they must immediately be sedated. Afterwards, they must immediately be terminated via lethal injection and fed to SCP-XXXX as per normal feeding requirements. SCP-XXXX is also required to have a filtration system that filters out all deceased members of the colony. The filtration system is attached to the bottom of the basin. After the dead colony members have been sifted out, the water is to be boiled, cooled and poured back into the colony. The filtration system is to be cleaned on a bi-weekly basis, decontaminated, and then incinerated.
Description: SCP-XXXX are an omnivorous and parasitic colony of Amoeba in the Amoeba genus. An individual specimen is not noticeable to the human eye and must be observed under one thousand (1000) magnification. Because of their small sizes, they can easily slip through hair follicles. Once an instance has entered the human body, SCP-XXXX will travel directly to the heart of the subject, tearing through bone and muscle mass along the way. It seemingly does not mind which part of the body it enters or which species it has infected; it will always reach the heart at a blinding speed. The fastest an instance has been recorded of being was nine (9) seconds after initial exposure. After the instance infects the heart, it starts eating away at all nearby muscle tissue, even after the subject has deceased. SCP-XXXX then starts a hibernation period becoming active until more food has been inserted. After hibernation, all instances that ate will duplicate and water will be expelled as a form of waste product. An individual instance usually contains three (3) parts. The first part is an outer layer of water that gravitates around the cell wall of the instance. After duplicating, this outer layer is primarily passed on to the newer instance, while a small part disperses around the older one. The older instance will never regenerate the outer layer of water, even when more water is introduced. Instead, all additional water goes to the newer instance until the layer is filled. If both instances were to be set on the floor, the newer instance will survive temporarily and the older will perish almost immediately unless it can be submerged in water (See Incident Log A). The second part is the cell wall, which more closely resembles a plant's cell wall. The third part is the organelles. Many of the organelles have been recorded in other species of Amoeba, such as Amphidinium, Karenia, and Symbiodinium. However, there are some organelles that do not resemble anything like others and are believed to have evolved naturally with SCP-XXXX.
Discovery Log: SCP-XXXX was found in the basement of ███████ Hospital, in ███████, Norway after a serial killer was caught. During police interrogations, it was asked where he hid the bodies as it was the biggest mystery in the case. The killer confessed on how the bodies were hidden-which is when the Foundation caught wind of SCP-XXXX. The authorities were amnesticized and a cover up story was made and while the killer was taken to the foundation for further interrogation, after interrogation the killer was made into a D-Class personnel (See Interrogation Report A).
Incident Report XXXX-A: Incident SCP-XXXX-A plays a video file. Dr. Schmitt Sr. was observing SCP-XXXX under a microscope while SCP-XXXX was nearing the end of it's hibernation cycle. Dr. Schmitt Sr. seeming frustrated carelessly cast aside the exposed microscope slide. It is unknown how the newer instance travelled but it is likely that it crawled into one of Dr. Schmitt's Sr. hair follicles on his lower arm or under his fingernail and went straight to his heart. Through security cameras it is observed that he screamed out in pain and clenched his heart exactly sixteen (16) seconds after he had cast aside the slide. He continued on his work and collapsed an additional ten (10) seconds after acknowledging his pain. His body was discovered three minutes and nine seconds (3:09) after he seemingly deceased. During an autopsy report the instance of SCP-XXXX was covered in Dr. Schmitt Sr's blood and was three (3) centimeters long and two (2) centimeters tall. The body was then decontaminated and incinerated along with the instance. Due to this it is theorized that SCP-XXXX is capable of storing food for those of its species who need food and/or have yet to reproduce.

Dr. Schmitt Sr.: Mr. ███████████████ do you know how SCP-XXXX has appeared in the cauldron that you claim to have found it in?
Mr. ███████████████ shakes his head: I went to the basement to do the laundry for that day and a black figure with a bucket had finished pouring water into the cauldron. I dropped the basket that I was holding at the time and asked him for some sort of identification. The figure dropped the bucket and walked towards me. I was frozen as he started walking towards me. He kept approaching me and even walked through me. While it was walking through me it told me to keep it alive.
Dr. Schmitt Jr.: Did the entity say anything while it went through you?
Mr. ███████████████: No, it's more like an urge came over me to feed and take care of it.
Dr. Schmitt Jr.: How did you know what to feed it?
Mr. ███████████████: I first started feeding it grass and leftover lunch. Then the food started disappearing faster and faster so I knew I had to upgrade the food. A coworker came down and saw me putting food into the cauldron. He told me that I was crazy for talking and feeding water. Knowing that I had to upgrade the food I decided to invite him over laughing it off and hit him on the head with a bottle before killing him. I decided to put his whole body in there, clothing and all with some more water just to make sure they'll be alright. After I saw that the body was gone I knew that dead people was one of the few things that I could feed them on my measly paycheck. Before I knew it I had fed them over twenty people over the course of a year.
Dr. Schmitt Sr.: Now you do understand that since you admitted feeding SCP-XXXX humans we can not let you go back into society.
Mr. ███████████████ said sadly: Yeah, I do.
Dr. Schmitt Sr.: Here's my proposition for you, you can either go back to the prison where you await your death sentence or you can help us test other similar entities where you have a moderate chance to live.
Mr. ███████████████: That sounds better than waiting my own demise.
