Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a large cubic cell block made entirely of concrete with no windows. Additionally, the cell’s entry point must be constructed of a double-entry security system to prevent the organism from coming in contact with maintenance personnel upon scheduled feedings and cleaning. SCP-XXXX is currently contained at __.
SCP XXXX must regularly receive 1 Kilogram of deer feed and 2 Kilograms of ground beef twice every 24 hours, with an additional 1,100 mcg of Vitamin A, D, and K supplements once every 24 hours in the form of capsules crushed and combined in equal parts with both feeds. The food must be delivered on a wheeled trough that is rolled into the room through a small slat in the second set of entrance doors for the safety of maintenance personnel.
SCP-XXXX is to be sedated with a combination of xylazine (2-3 mg/kg, IM) and ketamine (7-10 mg/kg, IM) through injection twice a year for the extraction of tissue samples and the removal of the top 6 cm of every branch of the antlers. Tests are to be carried out in an environmentally isolated room with no more than three certified class-4 personnel in the room at a time and must be carried out during a period of time in which no other organisms are being tested. All personnel in the anomaly’s environment must be wearing a Mira Safety Protective CBRN HAZMAT Suit and must never come in contact with the organism with exposed skin.
SCP-XXXX is not to be cross-tested with any other organism or anomaly in the containment facility. SCP-XXXX is not to be exposed to any living organism and is not to be touched with bare skin under any circumstances.
Addendum-XXXX: SCP-XXXX is not to be interacted with outside of designated feeding blocks or testing. Additionally, the organism is never to come in contact with personnel class-3 or lower and is never to interact with personnel who have not been cleared by a class-4 or higher agent. Class-2 agent remains in an induced coma after two days after the incident to prevent further attacks on __.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 1 meter tall and two meter long six-legged organism with a body that closely resembles that of a North American White-Tailed Deer and a cephalon unit that closely resembles the bare skull of an alligator. The third canine of the cranium is more elongated than an alligator’s, reaching a length of 6cm. Directly superior and slightly medial to the sockets of the eyes are two three-pronged antlers that grow between six and seven cm every six months. Unlike an ordinary male deer, the antlers do not fall off on their own, and instead keep growing. for the maintenance of the organism’s health and comfort, the antlers must be trimmed twice a year. SCP-XXXX has no detectable eyes or hearing organs, but is somehow able to see and hear in its environment. SCP_XXXX possesses a very thin membrane over the skull to allow it to ingest sustenance.
SCP-XXXX is handled under very extreme caution and constantly under supervision due to the fact that any organism that comes into unprotected contact will quickly fall into an uncontrollable rage that lasts approximately two weeks. Any organisms that are affected by SCP-XXXX have been recorded to try killing any other living organisms in their line of sight on all occasions. After the two-week period of being affected by the anomaly, all records show imminent death. The deaths of all test subjects are thus far unexplainable. Tissue samples are still being extracted twice a year to attempt the production of a cure but all attempts have been unsuccessful.
It is thought that the rage state in which organisms enter upon unprotected contact is a type of psychological control that SCP-XXXX possesses that reflects its own aggression and anger.
SCP_XXXX is a notably aggressive creature, with all experiments involving Class-D personnel resulting in the organism rushing the subject and either trampling, biting, or ramming them to death.
When provided with food twice daily, observers report that SCP_XXXX shows no initial sign of hunger or interes, but when all personnel leave its room through the safety of the double-door system, the anomaly will quickly swallow and erase all traces of the food, always consuming half of the deer feed first, then half of the ground beef, then finishing the rest of the food in that same order.
SCP_XXXX possesses another strange ability in which it prevents any recording or photographing devices from capturing a clear image of itself. Any attempts to capture an image of the anomaly always result in a glitched effect, making any photographs difficult to decipher. The interference is undetectable and yet to be explained. In order to provide information to off-site researchers about SCP_XXXX, an artistic agent is commissioned to illustrate the organism using a sketchpad and a pencil.
Historical Note: SCP-XXXX was first sighted in the town of __ at 11:00 PM by an employee of the fast food company __. They were presumably driving home from a night shift. The citizen attempted to video the anomaly as it crossed the road in front of the car, attracting its attention with the camera’s flash. The citizen’s clothing, wallet, and keys, along with the camera and video, were found in the grass twenty feet away from the car, which had a shattered windshield and a gash in the driver’s door that measured to be two feet long. There were no traces of the passenger, although the blood sample obtained from the clothes matched the identity of the owner of the car.
