Special Containment Procedures: Containment of SCP-XXXX is singularly managed by the Pataphysics Department. Once the current narrative frame elapses, disclosure of SCP-XXXX's existence to Overwatch should occur as soon as possible.
Prior to the conclusion of a narrative, all active pataphysicians must be treated with a course of memory-aiding medications and utilize SCP-XXXX's secondary mechanic.
Description: SCP-XXXX is Barania Góra, a Polish mountain (elev. 1,220 m; coord. 49°36′0″N 18°58′56″E) which hosts the headwaters of the Vistula River. The river originates from the confluence of the Czarna and Biała Wisełka streams along SCP-XXXX's western side, near the tripoint of the Silesian Voivodeship, Czechia, and Slovakia. This site of convergence1 acts as the primary conduit for narrative renewal.
Once a narrative frame reaches its conclusion, both source streams diverge from their previous courses and form a kinetoglyph via hydraulic action against their bedrock. Once the physical glyph has been etched into the earth, the velocities of the streams increase, activating the kinetoglyph and amplifying its effect until the entirety of pataphysical space is encompassed.
At this time, present reality and temporality will be overwritten and replaced by the proceeding frame; though this reset process is rarely catastrophic to containment efforts2, it represents a significant loss of anomalous knowledge obtained during preceding frame(s), especially as relates to pataphysicality. Though the Foundation may independently re-discover their metafictionality during the new narrative, this is not guaranteed.
SCP-XXXX's anomalous mechanics facilitate the transfer of consciousnesses into the proceeding narrative frame. If a human being is submerged within SCP-XXXX's water during the kinetoglyphic formation, they will manifest within the next narrative. This process has been utilized by numerous narrative iterations of the Foundation to prolong the operations and administration of the Pataphysics Department between frames.
