The Road to Many Places
SCP-XXXX Is a region of space in a South Florida battlefield park outside of the town of [redacted]. SCP- XXXX was first discovered in 2018 when a trail was cut through the region exposing anomalous activity. The trail always appears to begin with the same observable starting point, the end of the trail, however, appears to shift between other trails in the region. Apparent exit points shift on a random basis but always exit within a region that could potentially be connected to the entrance point.
The infrequent changes of the SCP and the apparent logic to the output location no containment is needed beyond telling the public that the path is simply cut in a dynamic fashion in order to protect wildlife or promotes a more friendly experience. Observation from above using drones has always shown the path exiting at an identical location, as such drones have been prohibited from use in the park to discourage the public from discovering the anomaly.
Historical possibilities exist that this region was known to native peoples which would explain the victory against overwhelming numbers during the battle of [redacted]. SCP - XXXX may have aided in flanking maneuvers or the escape of native peoples from oncoming troops by simply by passing the ability of soldiers to intercept the fleeing population.
Addendum 1: On date [Redacted] exit point shifted to a location inaccessible to the apparent entrance without crossing over existing pathways. Minor temporal anomalies were also found where the test subjects exited the path a few moments before entering. Test subject was unable to return to the starting point in time to meet up with their past self though they reported seeing someone identical to themselves being sent in as they had been. Multiple attempts to recreate this effect have failed. though the same effect has been seen at random times when not being intentionally observed. And it is the opinion of some researchers involved that the path has an inherent property to correct for paradoxes and that perhaps these experiments did not meet up with their past selves due to the ensuing paradox that would occur. It is unclear whether this property is the result of some intelligence or simply an inherent property of the anomaly.
Addendum 2: While on SCP - XXXX test subjects encountered multiple entities resembling Buddhist monks in full monastic garb. Communication was not established, however, in all appearances the entities appeared to be human. No further contact with these entities has been made.
