Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be stored in its original container which it was found in, which is then to be contained in a standard non-sentient object containment box. Under no circumstances is Foundation Personnel allowed to come in contact with SCP-XXXX, unless approved for testing.

Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be approximately 16.3 Ounces of standard creamy peanut butter which is held within an average 8x4x7 peanut butter jar with a black lid. The jar wich SCP-XXXX is held in has no labels on manufacturing marks. SCP-XXXX's origin is unknown. SCP-XXXX will not reside outside of its original container for more than ten minutes. In the event SCP-XXXX is outside of its container for more than ten minutes SCP-XXXX will combust into light a disappear only to reappear in its container approximately ten seconds later. Attempts to put SCP-XXXX into another standard peanut butter container were unsuccessful and SCP-XXXX would always go back to its original container. In the event, SCP-XXXX comes in direct contact with a living organism the affected organism's tissue will begin to rapidly decay. Throughout this process of decaying the organism will continue to live until wounds sustained prove fatal. This process will only end once the victim has died. After death, the victim's body is to be incinerated to prevent the spread of bacteria. Junior Researcher ████████ who was witness to the effects of SCP-XXXX on a Class-D subject described it as, "The most horrible experience in my life. I can never forget the painful screams as he lay slowly dying. As if that was not worse enough his corpse was a disgusting sight it looked as if sticks almost burnt to ash were formed into the shape of a skeleton with bits of blood and guts mixed in. I shudder at the sight of SCP-XXXX ever coming in contact with a human again." Currently, there is no known way to stop this process from occurring.

Discovery: SCP-XXXX was recovered by Foundation Personnel on ██/██/████ at ████████, Canada after Foundation Personnel were alerted after five college students were killed by SCP-XXXX by coming in contact with it at a graduation party where it was being served along with other foods.
