Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in its cover (~31.43 cm) to prevent damage like scratching and stains (see Test log SCP-XXXX-1e), SCP-XXXX is held in a standard household size room with a microphone so researchers can listen in to what is playing on SCP-XXXX and a window for researchers can view what the subject is doing during tests SCP-XXXX is now held in a sound proof room hooked up with a microphone that only record, at site ¦¦ to prevent SCP-XXXX's effect causing casualties, in the room is also a stand-up gramophone to play SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX must be checked after every test to make sure it has no scratches from the nail of the gramophone after the incident following Test SCP-XXXX-1e.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a vinyl record with no branding encased in a black cover that seems to change the audio on itself via unknown means, it can change every few hours or not change in months but it will change after every play, this "audio" is assumed that it can be anything from a country's national anthem to messages encoded in Morse code, while playing SCP-XXXX there can be anywhere from 4 seconds to 3 minutes of white noise before the actual "audio" plays, this seems to be mostly random but also has some correlation to how much time was left on the previous play but if more than an unknown amount of minutes of "audio" has been unheard before a change the next "audio" will either be too low or too high to be heard by humans, even though humans can not hear it, if someone knows about this "sound" and they "hear" it, their ears start to bleed at a rapid rate (see Test log SCP-XXXX-1c) death is caused by lack of blood circulating through out the body, this "sound" has to be heard in person or through microphone for SCP-XXXX's anomalous effect to work, this "sound" cannot be changed, if SCP-XXXX's next "audio" is this "sound" it will not be changed, the previous rule of "if more than an unknown amount of minutes of "audio" has been unheard before a change" also applies to the "sound" seen in Test SCP-XXXX-1b and 1c, but if a death is caused by the sound the next "audio" will not be this "sound" and SCP-XXXX will go back to playing random songs and messages.
