SCP-5925
SCP-5925's containter within the containment cell.
Item #: SCP-5925
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:
The following procedures are not to be questioned.
Documented procedures have been issued by the seven individuals who have executive authority over containment and the files associated with SCP-5925.
Suspected personnel or individuals with unauthorized knowledge regarding SCP-5925 will be interrogated before amnesia or termination ensues.
The artifact, SCP-5925, is to be contained in a secondary container within the containment cell. This container is described as follows: metal plate, bolt sealed liquid container with the measurements of 121.92cm x 76.2cm x 76.2cm.
SCP-5925 resides within a containment cell of 2.43m x 1.82m x 1.82m to allow transfer to test sites. Testing is to be performed only by personnel wearing Class VI BNC suits.
Special containment procedures have been issued for SCP-5925. The special procedures implemented in addition to the standard protocol for SCP-5925 are the allocation of multiple containment cells, transfer of SCP-5925 to varied cells, and sensitizing the whereabouts of SCP-5925 at any given time.
Testing anomalous properties of SCP-5925 are to be done with the following conditions:
If any of the following conditions are not met, testing on SCP is to be denied.
- Personnel attempting testing has Clearance level 4 or 5.
- Personnel attempting testing are priorly unaware of SCP-5925’s current anomalous properties.
- SCP-5925’s containment location is separate from the testing location.
- The amount of SCP-5925 being tested is less than half of 4.546 L.
- Reported data on the artifact is not to include the containment or testing location.
Analysis and data on SCP-5925 require the following conditions to be met:
If any of the following conditions are not met, access to the analysis and data of the artifact is to be denied.
- Personnel Attempting to access the analysis and data of SCP-5925 have Clearance level 5.
- Personnel attempting to access the analysis and data of the artifact are unaware of SCP-5925 containment cell or testing location.
Containment procedures for SCP-5925-01 through SCP-5925-06 include the following:
- Clearance level 5 interrogation every two weeks
- ZERO parol
- Absolutely no windows
- Food, water, and vitamins are to be provided at eight-hour intervals.
Description: The atomic and structural makeup of SCP-5925 indicates a near-identical relation to H2o as well as several trace elements thought to be found near underwater volcanoes. The artifact itself is near impossible to distinguish from water unless it is studied under a microscope or its anomalous properties are present in the vicinity.
SCP-5925 was discovered after a small island named ██████ near the country of England opened to civilians in the year ████. Reports of a curse, now documented as SCP-5925-01, arose after an unknown woman began committing mass homicide; a stockpile of cash and bank cards were found as if the woman was preparing for something on a larger scale.
Since the incident, SCP-5925 has been located in a number of locations and the SCP foundation has yet to determine the exact amount present on earth.
Anomalous properties SCP-5925 exhibit after ingestion or physical contact include several neurological changes. These changes include an exponential increase in IQ, unconscious adaptations to thought patterns, a moderate increase of dominance or ego, and eventually symptoms of 5925-01.
Anomalous properties the artifact exhibits before ingestion or physical contact have been narrowed down to two conditions, these conditions are the cause of both the containment procedures and special containment protocols SCP-5925 requires. These conditions are as follows: (1)knowledge of the anomalous properties the artifact exhibits after making physical contact and (2)knowledge of the whereabouts of SCP-5925. If both these conditions are met, the subject will seek out the artifact until it recognizes it is no longer present at its last known location or the subject’s memory is wiped of SCP-5925’s anomalous properties. Otherwise, the subject will both seek and consume the artifact until the anomalous symptom SCP 5925-01 becomes present in the subject.
SCP-5925-01 is what SCP Foundations D class test subject, code name Ezekiel, described as “The Plan”. (See Addendum 5925-B) As previously studied, ingestion or physical contact with SCP-5925 has demonstrated immense growth in IQ through certified, experimental, and even unconventional testing methods. The Subject does not experience SCP-5925-01 until they have approximately ingested 4.546L of SCP-5925 or bathed in SCP-5925 for a total of 3 days, non consecutively.
“The Plan” as described by Test Subject Ezekial is not a sudden leap from sane to a mass murderer. In fact, Test Subject Ezekial is the fifth test subject to be exposed to SCP-5925. At this time we now define Test Subject Ezekial as SCP-5925-06. Each test subject beforehand has either been eliminated or been restrained in containment procedures for SCP-5925-01. (See Addendum 5925-A)

SCP-5925-06: And about my Request?
Investigator O'Brian It's being taken care of…
SCP-5925-06 Then I'll hold up my end of our little bargain
Investigator O'Brian Good, now… What exactly is "The Plan" you mentioned last month?
SCP-5925-06 (exhales deeply)…It is nothing more than your demise…all of your downfalls…
Investigator O'Brian (visibly confused) All of us? Should I take that as the SCP Foundation destruction?
SCP-5925-06 Well.. (his grin makes itself present)…That may be a start, leaving this hole in the ground necessary to accomplish it.
Investigator O'Brian (A sudden burst of laughter erupts from his throat)….(he takes a relaxed inhale and exhale) this is one rather deep hole in the ground, not to mention there's nothing but nearly 10,000 stories of ceiling you'd have to dig yourself out of….
SCP-5925-06 (interrupts the investigator) And If I chose to use the elevator Mr….O'Brian? (a calm, reassured grin sat unnervingly still above his jawline)…..
<Log skips to 00h:22m:02s>
Investigator O'Brian (Flips his collar right side up to address his messy look) I trust you not look down on the SCP Foundation next time…SCP-5925-06 (Now bruised and beaten but his grin still crookedly staring at the back of Investigator O'Brien)…We still have time Mr. O'Brian….I Still have time….. (a chuckle trickles into a crazed laugh)
Investigator O'Brian (Leaves the room, later reporting that if he stayed in the room longer he may have tried to kill him or even worse, freed him just to show the inevitability of escape…. he was then relieved of investigative duties for a month)

Footnotes
- Research explains the connection to Mayans in contact with SCP-5925. The explanation of the extinction of the Mayan tribe is more perceivable as well.
- Convincing theory that the apple tree in the Bible from the story of Adam and Eve. Their act of eating the fruit of the tree exposed to SCP-5925 could explain the origin of self-aware humanity.
- Theorists and scientists both wonder how SCP-5925 would affect SCP-079 given it is an inanimate object yet has sentience.
