Special Containment Procedures:

SCP-4983 is to be watched by Mobile Task Force -- at all times in the case that the condition of its presence changes. Since the object is unable to be reached or be touched in any form of physical contact, Foundation personnel have built an outpost to accompany the object. It is currently completely still in the sky and doesn't seem to have moved. Tests have attempted to prove that it has moved by as little as nanometers, but it hasn't due to the lack of being able to being in a 30 foot radius of it.

To shield it from citizens using Highway [REDACTED], Foundation personnel have blocked the object by using hallucinatory gas, buildings surrounding the area, amnestics, and other aerial objects. If anyone outside of Foundation personnel that are seen on site will be detained, administered amnestics, and are given to the local authorities of [REDACTED] County.

Description:

SCP-4983 appears to be a Boeing 737 airplane that is located about an estimate of 100 - 125 feet above the ground near Highway [REDACTED], in [REDACTED], California, United States. The plane is completely drone in the sky, as if it were cemented. The reasoning for this phenomenon is completely unknown, as well as its actual material and size. There seems to be no model number on the outside of the plane either, meaning its destination and takeoff location are also unknown.

The windows of the plane appeared block from the inside, with the exception of the cockpit's window, but Foundation have not been able to get close enough to the plane. The lights of the plane seem to be off, except during Addendum-1.
