Special Containment Procedures: Live instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be contained within solid metal boxes 15 cm x 10 cm x 10 cm, each filled with water and stored inside a freezer set to -50° Celsius. The only opening present on a box is to be a secure metal hatch from which to retrieve SCP-XXXX-1 instances for testing. Freezer is to be monitored by cameras activated by movement. Expired instances may be chemically preserved for further research.
Each captive instance of SCP-XXXX is to be kept separately from others in reinforced concrete containment chambers measuring 12 m x 10 m x 15 m, with feeding chutes and air filters embedded in the concrete of the ceiling with no exposed screws or bolts. NO channel into a containment chamber of SCP-XXXX, save for the entrance, is to exceed the size of 27.80 cm x 25.40 cm. The enterance to the chamber must have three reinforced metal doors, arranged one after another to prevent containment breaches should SCP-XXXX manage to get itself past a door. Any observation windows present must be made of wire-reinforced Plexiglas 10 centimetres thick. Temperature of the chamber is to be maintained at 0° Celsius. All chambers are to be monitored each by two cameras at all times, attached to the ceiling of the chamber. Captive instances of SCP-XXXX are to be fed once every six months via a single live specimen of adult Sylvilagus (specific species irrelevant) being dropped through the feeding chute into the chamber.
Standard testing protocol is to be followed for experimentation done on captive members of SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-1.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an animal species of indeterminate classification that possesses the anomalous ability to seemingly alter the speed of time relative to itself, which allows it to move at impossible speeds and extend its natural lifespan by centuries. The way in which instances of SCP-XXXX manipulate their own relative time is not properly understood, and research on the subject is ongoing.
