Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 550m by 550m by 550m cell with a second layer of walls 550m away. The walls in SCP-XXXX’s cell are to be lined with high power lights that can be turned off and on at random intervals. All personnel working with SCP-XXXX are to be blindfolded when within 1000m of SCP-XXXX’s containment cell. All personnel are to record data verbally. All doors are to be opened via voice controls. Any subjects affected by SCP-XXXX’s effect are to be contained and monitored. If a subject becomes a SCP-XXXX-3 they are to be killed and their remains are to be incinerated.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid approximately 1.55 meters tall that in place of a head possesses one large eye. SCP-XXXX is impervious to harm. The only way to contain SCP-XXXX is to blind SCP-XXXX with inconsistent lumen levels above 100 watts. SCP-XXXX seems unaffected by their lack of the ability to eat or breath and is assumed to not need substance to survive.
SCP-XXXX can cause hallucinations upon being viewed directly or through video. Hallucinations in 85.8% of cases cause subjects to see their beliefs in the afterlife. These subjects are designated SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 will behave like they are in their afterlife often causing subjects to miss hazards in the real world and die. Subjects who don’t believe in the afterlife will instead die via unknown means. In 14.2% of cases subjects report seeing through the perspective of SCP-XXXX, these subjects are designated as SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-2 can only see through the perspective of SCP-XXXX, this often causes disorientation within subjects. After ██ hours SCP-XXXX-2 will turn into SCP-XXXX-3.
SCP-XXXX has the ability to see through the eyes of any person within 533 meters. SCP-XXXX has attempted to escape containment █times by seeing through the eyes of personnel moving through the site and learning the layout of the site. Due to this ability SCP-XXXX was moved out of site 700 meters away and all personnel dealing with SCP-XXXX are to travel blindfolded and record information verbally.
SCP-XXXX-3 are subjects that underwent transformations after becoming SCP-XXXX-2. The transformation occurs during sleep in subjects, attempts to wake subjects result in failure. Killing the subject does not stop the transformation. SCP-XXXX-3 are visually identical to SCP-XXXX however they do not possess SCP-XXXX’s abilitys. SCP-XXXX-3 do not behave like their previous selves and instead will actively seek out people who can see. SCP-XXXX-3 when blocked from reaching their targets will “cry” a substance that melts through any material. The substance after being excreted will melt an object that will instantly solidify into the material melted making analysis of the secretion impossible. Once SCP-XXXX-3 have reached their target they will incapacitate them via any means given to them. Once their target is incapacitated they will try to bring their target to see SCP-XXXX-3 thus continuing the spread. SCP-XXXX-3 have used video surveillance to subject their targets into seeing SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-3 can be killed via incineration or blinding. SCP-XXXX-3’s bodies after death melt similar to their secretion and harden into whatever materials their body is touching.
SCP-XXXX is unable to hear or speak due to the absence of ears or mouth so communication has been difficult. SCP-XXXX communicates via writing. So far SCP-XXXX has only spoken about the afterlife, morals, and requests to leave. Information gathered indicates SCP-XXXX is not human and is attempting to escape. Reasons for wanting to escape are unknown but are believed to be so SCP-XXXX can further spread SCP-XXXX-2s.
Addendum-1: On █/█/20██ reports in a small town in ███████ indicated that mass hallucinations were occuring and strange humanoid creatures were gathering. The town was found to have been completely abandoned, however all objects and buildings remained. SCP-XXXX was found trapped inside a building and was discovered to cause hallucinations. MTF “ICU” was sent to contain SCP-XXXX.
Addendum-2: On █/█/20██ video surveillance of a bank that had been broken into the day before showed a humanoid that in place of a head possessed one large ear. Investigations are underway to determine if they are related to SCP-XXXX.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in their containment cell. Once every 4 days a D-class is required to enter containment and become SCP-XXXX's opponent. If containment is met with failure MTF ICU will search the surrounding 100 meters with three D-class. All testing is to be done with D-class.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a eye suspended in the air in cell ███. SCP-XXXX was found at ████████ school where it was being challenged by the students all of which lost. Investigating the students found that the eye just appeared in the middle of a nearby field. Students were given Class B Amnestics. Students who became blind were transferred out and given false memories.
The eye is impervious to all damage used against it. The main anomalous effect of the eye occurs when a person now designated SCP-XXXX-1 locks eyes on SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-1 will refuse to remove line of sight with SCP-XXXX, often times becoming aggressive against people who take them away from SCP-XXXX. Subjects left out of sight of SCP-XXXX over the course of ██ hours will begin to develop blindness and will refuse to keep themselves alive. If left to stare at SCP-XXXX subjects will stay in place for 30 seconds to ██ days staring at SCP-XXXX. If the subject blinks the subject will be unable to open their eyes. It has been determined subjects can't open their eyes because their eyelids fused together. Subjects whose eyes were opened manually were found to no longer possess eyes.
On 13 cases SCP-XXXX was seen to blink despite lacking eyelids. Subjects were then able to remove line of sight with SCP-XXXX, however the subjects were unable to close their eyes causing their eyes to be damaged. Upon winning the staring contest subjects reported not being able to feel sensations around their eyes and face.
Addendum-1: SCP-XXXX was left in their containment cell with no subjects for five days. After five days SCP-XXXX disappeared from containment. SCP-XXXX was later found after reports of people suddenly becoming blind in the nearby town of ████████. MTF-██ was sent to investigate and found SCP-XXXX inside a display case at the ██████ museum. D-class were sent to take SCP-XXXX back to containment.

Special Containment Procedures:
Description:
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: euclid
Special Containment Procedures:SCP-XXXX are to be contained in 10 separate rooms each fitted with a 75 by 75 liter terrarium. SCP-XXXX colonies must not come into contact with each other. Testing with SCP-XXXX must be done while wearing fully padded equipment. In case of personnel being stung, instance must be retrieved and separated from rest of colony.
Description:SCP-XXXX is a species of scorpions that possess stingers that can extract memories from people stung. The scorpion will then take on the identity and personality of the person they have stung and are designated SCP-XXXX-1. The subject will lose consciousness and will die if not kept given life support. No subjects stung have woken up. SCP-XXXX-1 is believed to actually possess the consciousness of the person stung.
SCP-XXXX are genetically similar to other species of scorpion except for the brain. SCP-XXXX have the same physical capabilities of other scorpions, as such are unable to speak making interviews difficult. SCP-XXXX-1 seemingly communicate by hissing at each other. SCP-XXXX get food by scavenging for leftover food from humans or dead animals. SCP-XXXX have been observed to hunt small insects as well.
SCP-XXXX seek out people to steal memories from for unknown reasons. SCP-XXXX-1 can possess multiple consciousnesses and express all of them simultaneously. Newborn scorpions are noted to not possess a stolen consciousness instead newborn scorpions are given a consciousness by being stung by other SCP-XXXX that possess multiple consciousness. SCP-XXXX have been observed to form colonies and use the stolen memories to advance their colony. The largest colony found had 38 SCP-XXXX-1 and was found with several small tools and houses.
Notes
Core idea: Website offers people lootboxes containing what they feel they are missing like money, success, fame, sanity, objects, and such. The boxes always on the first purchase contain a item that has a connection or deeper meaning to the person who bought the box. The item always possesses an anomalous ability that slightly helps the person with what they feel they are missing, like a piggy bank that produces a penny everyday. Along with the item the box will also contain a note that lists a variety of prizes that the person could receive. The list varies with each person because it is aimed at getting the person to keep buying lootboxes to get the better version of what they got. The person will ultimately get more boxes in an attempt to get the best item that guarantees what they desire. The boxes will start to form a pattern of good things and bad things to keep the person buying more and more. The objects got from boxes will also break or deteriorate in seemingly natural ways like accidentally falling or being stolen.
Narrative
2 journals(two non foundation people, much different from each other.)
Journal 1(TEMP JACK)
Details the life of someone who is struggling with money. Jack finds the site and orders a box. The box comes with piggy bank. Thinking that it is a joke they get mad but still keep the bank. They find the note and also think its a joke but keep it anyway. Over the next few days they don't observe the bank and write about their struggles and expenses. On the fifth day they pick up the bank and hear clinking. The bank contained 5 pennies,Jack leaves them. On the sixth day Jack finds another penny inside. They then realize that the bank produced the pennies and that the note was telling the truth. They then scrape together money to buy another. The next day they write about hoping the next box will be better and that things might be getting better. When the box arrives they open it and find the next version of the bank. The bank promises a dollar a day. Jack waits for the next day. The bank provides the dollar and Jack is happy. Jack then sets up a plan to purchase more boxes and set up a "Money farm". They scrape more money together to buy a box. The box comes and inside is a penny piggy bank. Disappointed Jack accidentally breaks the new bank. Jack stops buying the banks for a few weeks, instead trying to save their money. They then get fired,on the same day they are fired they find a note attached to their bank reading "Half off sale!" Jack buys two boxes with their saved up money. The first box comes with a 10 dollar bank, the second comes with another penny. Jack is quite happy about the first one. He doesn't break the second one. Jack makes a finance plan around the banks and boxes instead of getting a job. The journal skips a couple weeks. The next part of the journal details Jacks huge budget mostly consisting of boxes. Jack has several 100 dollar banks and 1 500 dollar bank. Jack is happy but is getting worried about the increase in price of the boxes. Over the next couple days all of his banks either break or are stolen along with a lot of his money. Jack is upset but decides his last hope is to order one last box. The box arrives. Jack opens it to find that it is the final and mystery piggy bank. It has no anomalous property. Jack then realizes what it means and decides to start saving and never buys a bank again.
This journal is meant to demonstrate the website's nature and what it tries to do. This one shows the struggles of addictions in general, but ends with Jack ending his addiction and starting over. The happy ending. Jack tells no one about the banks or website.
