SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a steel cylinder that is 1.53 meters tall,
with a lid screwed onto it. It's container will be kept in a 1m x 1m x 2m
holding container at Site 19, at least 10m from anywhere you can rest.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a poster of popular boy band █████ ██ ███ █████.
If any person sleeps within 10 meters of the poster, the band will
appear in their dreams. This occurs even if the subject has no prior
knowledge of the band.
For most, the dreams are horrible nightmares,
but do not cause any long-term emotional/psychological distress. However, teenaged
girls have positive dreams with the band. However, if the girl is woken up by anyone,
she will become extermely violent and homicidal towards them. The effects wear off in 48 hours,
so there is no designation to SCP-XXXX-1.
Addendum:
It is unknown if the band is aware of the anomalous poster, or why it only
severely effects teenaged girls. It is hypothesised that the poster might have been made
for the band to market better to their audience.
However, there is no confirmed second instance of SCP-XXXX to support that hypothesis.
An interview of SCP-XXXX
Interviewer: Ruby Mason
This log contains the transcribed conversation betwenn 15-year-old Ruby Mason and the
band's lead singer.
<Begin Log 1/8 approximately 12:00 AM>
Ruby: "Oh my gosh! How did you get in my dream? Oh, I'm so happy to finally
meet you!
SCP-XXXX: "I'm not sure how I got in here, but you bet I want to stay with you."
Ruby: "Oh my god.. Are you even real?"
After this point, subject reports the dream got wildly distorted, to the point where
"her reality was crumbling before her own eyes."
<End Log>
Closing Statement:
It is currently unknown what SCP-XXXX's true intentions are. As of now,it is safest to not try to test
our luck, as SCP-XXXX seems to have a way to twist our minda at their most vulnerable state.
