Special Containment Procedures:
Item SCP-5287 is to be chained down and stayed within ice cold water at all times. When personnel must enter SCP-5287's chamber, all personal must wear a Thermal to not get exposed to the below zero water and must maintain 10 feet away from SCP-5287.

Under no circumstances must any personnel attempt to approach SCP-5827 and attempt to interact with Item SCP-5287 (i.e., speaking to SCP-5287, attempting to adjust the chains, etc.)

True appearance of item SCP-5287 is unknown for it tends to change appearance to whoever looks at it. Many reports that it takes the appearance of their lover (i.e. wife and/or husband etc.), or their inner fantasies. Item SCP-5287 seems to hardly if not at all change appearance while standing in ice water (reasoning behind this is unknown).

Following tests upon SCP-5287 resulted in D-Class Personnel attempting to get close and "comfort" SCP-5287. (Perhaps it is due to it being in chains.) If the chains on SCP-5287 are removed, SCP-5287 will attempt to do out of these three;

  • Attempt to mate with personnel within 10 feet.
  • Attack personnel and devour their hearts.
  • Tackle and ████████ personnel within 10 feet.
