SCP-4986

Item #: SCP-4896

Object Class: Keter

Due to the lack of sightings in the past months by the [REDACTED] facility, it is assumed that SCP-4986 has either relocated to sector [REDACTED] or has been intercepted by another group while making its rounds.

SCP-4986 is considered harmless, except for in synthetic conditions. It resembles a regular human, and is one to an extent, except for the fact that it reacts even more violently than any observed Class E personnel when made to go into enclosed spaces or when cornered or cuffed, and seems to be able to seamlessly get out of captivity of any kind if it feels the need to, even to bystanders and anti-SCP cameras, which are designed to nullify any “veils” anomalies use to hide their actions. This has occurred most recently when a series of tests were being performed on it. SCP-4986 was noted to have somehow get up and walk off of the premises without any of the on-site Class-C personnel noticing.

Although normally SCP-4986 behaves like a slightly odd, but more or less normal human, it undergoes peculiar changes when exposed to Class-E personnel or anomalies. For example, in an attempt to introduce it to Elucid-Class SCP-3008, SCP-4986 went rogue, attempting to bash the doors out and bite the arms and heads of the present Class-D personnel off, even as the doors closed and it was deemed trapped permanently. A few minutes later, SCP-4986 spontaneously materialized behind the group, with its skin partly gone, and blood covering its hands and lips. Lt. [REDACTED] and the Class-D personnel were mangled beyond recognition before SCP-4986 was scared off with a shotgun blast.

SCP-4986 also seems to react more calmly to being in captivity when in the presence of Class-E personnel, especially those confirmed to be heavily affected by other Keter-Class entities. However, keeping it stable in this way has been deemed unviable, seeing as these personnel are under strict quarantine and may cause irreparable damage if allowed to exit their holding cells.

In order to address its recent disappearance from the locale, a team of Containment Specialists have been dispatched in order to locate it.
