Special Containment Procedures: Item SCP-XXXX must always be concealed with an opaque cloth at all times. Any personnel that witnesses SCP-XXXX must immediately be detained and administered amnestics. SCP-XXXX must be kept inside of a small opaque container and away from a direct light source at all times. Contact is only to be permitted with SCP-XXXX under testing circumstances. No photographs, or recordings of SCP-XXXX are to be taken. Any photographs or recordings of SCP-XXXX are to be immediately incinerated.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a highly acidic liquid with a similar pH reading to Hydrofluoric Acid. The acid is held inside a conical flask, formerly known as SCP-XXXX-1. The conical flask is made from an unknown material that cannot be affected by any means.
SCP-XXXX is a pink liquid that has a hypnotic effect that causes people who observe SCP-XXXX, in any area of their visual field, to have an uncontrollable urge to consume the liquid. They will do everything they can to consume the liquid, even if it means they are hurt or killed. People under the hypnotic effect begin screaming and wailing about how much they want to consume SCP-XXXX. If the influenced person is placed in a confined room with no possible escape their mental health will deteriorate and eventually they will attempt to commit suicide due to the amount of stress caused by SCP-XXXX.
SCP-XXXX is extremely volatile and will immediately melt any surface that isn’t SCP-XXXX-1. The liquid produces a low level heat and has no scent of any kind. SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-1’s molecular make-up are completely unknown. It was found in a box full of chemicals inside a lab in ████. All the other chemicals in the box were standard chemicals such as Hydrochloric acid, Sulphuric acid and Nitric acid. SCP-XXXX does not react in any way with any other acid. Anything placed directly into SCP-XXXX-1 instantaneously vaporises.
SCP-XXXX will automatically restore after exactly ██ minutes via an unknown source. It will seemingly refill as if someone was dispensing a drink. When SCP-XXXX-1 is empty, no hypnotic effects are displayed. At least 25ml of SCP-XXXX must be present to display any hypnotic effects.
SCP-XXXX is very sensitive to any direct light from up to 10cm away. The acid will turn into a gas and hold the same properties as its liquid counterpart. The gas is known as SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-3842-2 will melt any surface it comes into contact with. After 5 to ██ █████ the gas will be far apart enough to have no effects. The gas does not hold any hypnotic properties.
