SCP-5956 (shift)

Item #: SCP-5956

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5956 is to be kept in a containment cell exactly 3m by 4m with a bed and a blank notebook that is to be switched out every year on 10/18. The cell must also include metal reinforcements and new locks installed every 2 weeks due to incident 5956-5 .SCP-5956's windows are to be closed with lead reinforcements on exactly 3:15 AM of January 26 every year for safety, or during an attempted breach.

Description: SCP-5956 is an extraterrestrial of unknown sex, age, origin, or size that can take on the form of anything it touches, as well as gaining slight knowledge from the contacted subject (Language, minor memories, certain emotions, etc). It prefers to take the form of an adolescent Caucasian male around age 15, who has been identified as [REDACTED].

SCP-5956's true form is deadly to human eyes whether seen through video or live footage, seen first hand, or seen in an artistic description. SCP-5956 must turn back into its regular form every day on the same year, or else SCP-5956 will permanently become the form it is currently in and take on any physical traits while losing its own. The date SCP-5956 does this is January 26.

SCP-5956 has always been seen to have a high pain tolerance and resistance most physical damage, incredible strength, and the ability to run at speeds up to 87 mph, regardless of what form it is currently in. This may be part of its innate ability's as an extraterrestrial. SCP-5956 also has shown no signs of a need for intake of nutrients of any kind, although it has shown it can eat food regardless.

Appendix A: SCP-5956 is incredibly hostile, and has tried to escape on multiple occasions during both the trip to site 23 and during containment at site 23. SCP-5956's attempts of escape have ranged from disguising as security personnel to destroying its cell and causing a minor containment breach.
In order to stop this, the 05 council has given SCP-5956 a notebook in which to write in and distract itself (How and why the council came up with this is classified). It appeared to grow on the notebook, drawing strange alien runes and faces of horror that induces paranoia and mental instability in whoever reads it. the foundation is still studying this, and has designated the drawings inside these notebooks SCP-5956-B

If anyone looks at SCP-5956-B without special equipment, they are to be given class-A amnestics and should be sent to the infirmary or further tested for a week before the amnestics are applied.
