Containment Class:
euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to contained within a 5m x 5m x 2m grass field in its containment chamber, the outside doors of SCP-XXXX its containment chamber are to be locked when no testing is being conducted.
Foundation personal must show emotional affection to SCP-XXXX at least every day to decrease the chance of any further containment breaches.
No personnel under level 3 clearance are allowed to enter SCP-XXXX its containment chamber with the exception of D-Class personnel for testing purposes.
SCP-XXXX has been fitted with a GPS tracking chip for the purpose of easing re-containment should a containment breach occur. This tracker should be replaced once every three (3) months to assure it’s in working state when needed.
If SCP-XXXX breaches containment MTF Eta-10 ("See No Evil") aided by a staff team of GoI-466 (Wilson's Wildlife Solutions) are to be send to the current location of SCP-XXXX’s GPS tracker.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a white Angora rabbit measuring 20 centimetres in length and weighing 1.5 kilograms in mass. SCP-XXXX has proven to have the ability to teleport and create fur balls instances of itself (SCP-XXXX-1) that can be hostile towards other humans or animal species.
SCP-XXXX also appears to age slower than other human or animal species as testing reveals it to be two (2) years old according to its age characteristics despite it being in containment for five (5) years.
SCP-XXXX is resistant to any forms of damage currently known by the foundation and it is currently unknown whether SCP-XXXX has eternal life or not. Although testing has shown that SCP-XXXX is resistant to damage, inflicting damage on it has been proven to result in it creating more SCP-XXXX-1 instances then normally.
Due to the possible hostility of SCP-XXXX-1 instances, any and all attempts to terminate SCP-XXXX have since been advised against for safety reasons. As a result of this SCP-XXXX has to be cared for like any other non-anomalous rabbit of its kind until it reaches the end of its expected life span, this is currently estimated to be ninety (90) years.
Discovery: SCP-XXXX was first discovered at Whin Park in Inverness, Scotland.
Foundation staff were informed about a white rabbit causing people to seemingly seize what they were doing.
MTF Beta-4 ("Castaways") assisted by a staff group of GoI-466 (Wilson's Wildlife Solutions) were send out to investigate. Upon arrival at the scene SCP-XXXX was found on the edge of the park grounds surrounded by 27 instances of SCP-XXXX-1. Both groups were taken hostage by the effects of SCP-XXXX-1 upon establishing direct eye contact with it with the exception of MTF Beta-4 unit 3 who was wearing dark tinted sunglasses at the time of acquisition.
MTF Beta-4 proceeded to terminate all 27 instances of SCP-XXXX-1 followed by an unsuccessful attempt at terminating SCP-XXXX. While being shot at, SCP-XXXX rapidly produced 12 more instances of SCP-XXXX-1. All of which were terminated via gunfire shortly after.
SCP-XXXX was locked in a standard animal holding cell with the assistance of a second team from GoI-446 that arrived on the scene. SCP-XXXX was transported to the foundation and had created 2 more SCP-XXXX-1 instances upon arrival at Site-66.
All MTF Beta-4 and GoI-466 units taken hostage by the SCP-XXXX-1 instances returned to duty after being given medical treatment.
Addendum XXXX-A – Initial testing:
Testing on SCP-XXXX was carried out to determine the effectiveness and approach of SCP-XXXX-1’s attacking method. It was revealed that SCP-XXXX-1’s attack method is only effective when its victim is making direct eye contact with SCP-XXXX-1 with nothing in line of sight between the victim’s eyes and SCP-XXXX-1.
Special containment procedures where updated requiring all personnel handing SCP-XXXX to wear a pair of category 4 rated sunglasses near and in its containment chamber.
For more information about testing procedure and results, refer to test logs: A1, A2, A3 and A4.
Addendum XXXX-A.1 – Test Log A1:
Test A1 – Date ██/██/████
Subject: SCP-XXXX-1
Procedure:
D-class personnel (D-8158) was given instruction to enter SCP-XXXX’s containment chamber wearing class four (4) sunglasses and look at the white fur balls surrounding SCP-XXXX.
Results:
No notable events occurred.
D-8158 was removed from SCP-XXXX’s containment chamber by personnel and escorted back to its prison cell.
Analysis:
Viewing SCP-XXXX-1 while wearing class four (4) sunglasses results in SCP-XXXX-1 being unable to attack its victim.
End log
Addendum XXXX-A.2 – Test Log A2:
Test A2 – Date ██/██/████
Subject: SCP-XXXX-1
Procedure:
D-class personnel (D-6493) was given instruction to enter SCP-XXXX’s containment chamber wearing class four (4) sunglasses and look at the white fur balls surrounding SCP-XXXX.
Results:
No notable events occurred.
D-6493 was ordered to stay inside SCP-XXXX’s containment chamber for further testing.
Analysis:
Viewing SCP-XXXX-1 while wearing class four (4) sunglasses again resulted
in SCP-XXXX-1 being unable to attack its victim.
Current special containment procedures will be updated requiring all personnel handing SCP-XXXX to wear a pair of category four (4) rated sunglasses near and in its containment chamber.
End log
Addendum XXXX-A.3 – Test Log A3:
Test A3 – Date ██/██/████
Subject: SCP-XXXX-1
Procedure:
After completing test XXXX-A.2 D-6493 was ordered to remove his sunglasses.
Results:
D-6493 went into a hypnotic state upon making direct eye contact with SCP-XXXX-1.
Approximately five (5) minutes after being hypnotized D-6493 picked up SCP-XXXX-1 from the ground and started to cuddle with it.
While cuddling SCP-XXXX-1, D-6493 repeatedly vocalized how “Fluffy” SCP-XXXX-1 felt.
Any given orders or attempts at communicating with D-6493 were met with no response.
After ten (10) minutes of observation foundation personnel removed SCP-XXXX-1 from D-6493’s hands and terminated all present SCP-XXXX-1 instances via gunfire.
D-6493 was removed from SCP-XXXX’s containment chamber by personnel and transported to the medical bay.
Note: D-6493 showed no reaction to the sounds of gunfire, even after SCP-XXXX-1 was removed from his hands.
Analysis:
Current special containment procedures will be updated stating that direct
eye contact with SCP-XXXX-1 instances must be avoided at all costs.
End log
Addendum XXXX-A.4 – Test Log A4:
Test D1 – Date ██/██/████
Subject: SCP-XXXX-1
Procedure:
D-class personnel (D-2181) was given instruction to enter SCP-XXXX’s containment chamber wearing class four (4) sunglasses and look at the white fur balls surrounding SCP-XXXX.
After identifying SCP-XXXX-1, D-2181 was ordered to remove his sunglasses.
Results:
As predicted: D-2181 went into a hypnotic state upon making direct eye contact with SCP-XXXX-1.
After being hypnotized for five (5) minutes D-2181 picked up SCP-XXXX-1 from the ground and started to cuddle with it. While cuddling SCP-XXXX-1, D-2181 repeatedly vocalized how “Fluffy”
SCP-XXXX-1 felt.
Any given orders or attempts at communicating with D-2181 were met with no response.
Note: All of the before mentioned events that occurred where expected to happen.
D-2181 was left in a hypnotized state for testing, and got checked by foundation personnel every ten (10) minutes.
After thirty (30) minutes, D-2181 stance was weakened.
SCP-XXXX-1 was removed from D-2181 his hands and D-2181 was transported to the medical bay. All present SCP-XXXX-1 instances were terminated via gunfire.
D-2181 later showed to have severe memory loss and difficulty understanding and forming speech.
Analysis:
Victims under the effects of SCP-XXXX-1 for a period of 30 minutes or more, could develop health complications. Special containment procedures for SCP-XXXX-1 have been updated and now note that victims of SCP-XXXX-1 should get medical attention prior to 30 minutes after the first signs of hypnosis are shown.
End log
Addendum XXXX-B – Post-Testing log:
Test results have shown the capabilities and attack patterns of SCP-XXXX-1.
These results have hereby been documented as:
Special Containment Procedures: Direct eye contact with SCP-XXXX-1 instances should be avoided at any costs. SCP-XXXX’s containment chamber must be cleared of any SCP-XXXX-1 instanced at the end of every week.
Preferred way of terminating SCP-XXXX-1 instances is via gunfire or with the application of toxic gas.
When toxic gas is being used to terminate SCP-XXXX-1 instances, SCP-XXXX should be removed from the area to prevent rapid creation of new instances.
If an SCP-XXXX-1 instances succeeds in attacking, its victim must receive medical attention prior to 30 minutes after the first signs of hypnosis are shown.
Description: SCP-XXXX-1 are white-coloured fur balls created by SCP-XXXX. The exact method of creation is still unknown to the foundation; however, it’s believed that SCP-XXXX-1 is the result of SCP-XXXX shedding its fur. SCP-XXXX-1 can attack other human or animal species if it feels threatened, SCP-XXXX-1’s method of attack is through manipulation of the victims mind.
If direct eye contact is with SCP-XXXX-1 is made the victim will fall into a hypnotized state for approximately 5 minutes, after which it will proceed to pick up SCP-XXXX-1 and cuddle with it.
When SCP-XXXX-1’s victim gets hypnotized it is known to seize all activities it was doing, including those deemed necessary for survival. SCP-XXXX-1’s victims don’t stop cuddling with SCP-XXXX-1 until stopped via either forceful removal of SCP-XXXX-1 from the victim or after passing from effects of long-term hypnosis.
Addendum XXXX-C1 Incident 1:
On ██/██/████ SCP-XXXX was reported missing by site personnel monitoring its containment.
MTF Beta-4 and MTF Eta-10 ("See No Evil") were dispatched to search and recover SCP-XXXX back to site-66. GoI-466 had been informed by the foundation about the breach and SCP-XXXX’s new containment procedures.
After a six-hour long search SCP-XXXX was reported at the location it was first discovered during its initial containment. MTF Beta-4 was first on the scene capturing SCP-XXXX and terminating 8 instances of SCP-XXXX-1. At the time of capture it was unknown how SCP-XXXX breached containment and what path it had travelled between the beginning and end of its escape attempt.
MTF Eta-10 was ordered to keep on standby to deal with any reports of SCP-XXXX-1 sightings, 6 sightings were reported and dealt with in the following 24-hour period after which the mission was called to an end by command.
Addendum XXXX-C2 – Post-Incident 1 log:
It’s currently unknown how SCP-XXXX breached containment, it’s believed that SCP-XXXX has the ability of teleportation. Further research has to be done in order to verify this.
As of ██/██/████ SCP-XXXX will now be fitted with a GPS tracking chip with the purpose of easing re-containment when a containment breach occurs. This tracker should be replaced once every three (3) months to assure it’s in working state when needed.
Addendum XXXX-E1 Incident 2:
On ██/██/████ SCP-XXXX was reported missing again by site personnel monitoring its containment.
MTF Eta-10 and a group from GoI-466 were dispatched to the location of its GPS tracker and captured SCP-XXXX 13 minutes after it breached containment.
As during Incident 1: MTF Eta-10 was ordered to keep on standby to deal with any reports of SCP-XXXX-1 sightings. 0 sightings were reported in the following 24-hour period and MTF Eta-10 was called off.
Addendum XXXX-E2 – Post-Incident 2 log:
The GPS tracker on SCP-XXXX has fulfilled its purpose, thanks to it MTF Eta-10 was able to re-contain SCP-XXXX within a 15-minute window.
Dr. ██████, head of containment for SCP-XXXX has been asked by the site director to explain what happened.
