Description: SCP-XXXX is an anomalous phenomena effecting approximately 1 in 17000 transgender individuals seeking, desiring, or undergoing physical transition. Assigned gender and the gender identity of effected individuals seems to have not effect the prevalence of SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX causes effected individuals to undergo slow transformation of some aspects of their body to better fit their self image, produce desired sex hormones through unknown means, and in some cases manifest other mild anomalous traits. All instances of SCP-XXXX grow a [organ name] near their kidneys. This seems to be the source of the anomalous changes but not the source of the anomaly. This organ regenerates when removed in natural cases.
Transgender individuals who are seeking, desiring, or undergoing physical transition and make physical contact with individuals already experiencing SCP-XXXX are very likely to being experiencing SCP-XXXX. Repeated contact and contact with multiple instances increases the chance of being effected by SCP-XXXX.

Addendum 1: Discovery: On July 27th 2004 foundation personnel became aware of the existence of Emily [Redacted], a transgender woman effected by SCP-XXXX, manifesting as growing a pair of fox ears, developing night vison, thinning of her vocal cords, and producing estrogen from an unknown source. Objectives: The prevention of SCP-XXXX being confused with other anomalies and the gathering of data on SCP-XXXX
The foundation is to monitor online transgender forums for mentions of instances of SCP-XXXX. The foundation is to monitor if any POI are undergoing medical transition. All anomalous humans are to be checked for SCP-XXXX upon containment.
GCS-Beta
Enacted as part of special containment procedures on ██-██-2005
Objectives: To make surveillance and containment of potential SCP-XXXX cases substantially easier.
The SCP foundation is to fund media that portrays transgender people positively. Foundation planted government officials are to pass laws making legal medical transition easier. Foundation shell medical facilities are to provide trans health care if reasonable.
Notes: These procedures may change the occurrence rate of SCP-XXXX.
GCS-Gamma
Enacted as part of special containment procedures on ██-██-2009
Objectives: Keep a registry of all transgender people.
Using copies of government and medical records in conjunction with foundation surveillance algorithms, a registry of transgender people will be created. This registry will include medical history, physical transition status, and will flag individuals who may be instances of SCP-XXXX.
Indcedent XXXX-04-06-05: When conducting research on gender dysphoria independant to testing SCP-XXXX Dr. [Redacted] found that a small number of transgender people are effected by a condition that was identified as SCP-XXXX, seemingly at random. Dr.[Redacted]'s notes were taken by the foundation and academic release of his work was suppressed.
Addendum 3:
Under order of the ethics committee protocol GCS-Delta will be discontinued and protocol GCS-Delta will be instated. Protocol GCS-Delta is an unnecessary invasion of privacy. In addition it is necessarily eugenical.
