**Special Containment Procedures: **As physical containment of SCP-XXXX is currently impossible, efforts are to be instead directed to ensuring that SCP-XXXX does not come in contact with any people. SCP-XXXX's movements are to be monitored through drones or other forms of remote surveillance. A perimeter of 1km is to be established around SCP-XXXX at all times, and anybody attempting to get through this perimeter is to be detained for questioning.
In the event that a person comes within 100m of SCP-XXXX or is reported to have directly seen SCP-XXXX, they are to be immediately detained and moved to the nearest secure location, where they are to be quarantined for a minimum of 72 hours. If at the end of this period they have shown no symptoms associated with SCP-XXXX exposure, they are to be administered Class-C amnestics. If symptoms are shown, or if SCP-XXXX is reported to have begun moving in their direction, they are to be immediately terminated.
If SCP-XXXX comes within 50 km of any city with a population of more than 1000 individuals, or if the research team assigned to SCP-XXXX deems it fit, protocol Theta-9 is to be enacted. If protocol Theta-9 is deemed impossible, or if it fails to succeed, MTF unit Omega-5 (codename "Unstoppable Force") is to immediately begin firing mobile artillery batteries towards SCP-XXXX, and will continue firing until SCP-XXXX is fully incapacitated or Theta-9 successfully occurs.
**Description: **SCP-XXXX is a very tall emaciated humanoid, measured at approximately 6 meters of height, with extremely long legs and arms measuring 4 and 5.5 meters respectively. SCP-XXXX's skin is a dark-green color, although it has been shown to change slightly based on the scenery around it. In addition, SCP-XXXX has no definable facial features, excluding 2 large holes approximately 4 inches in diameter located at the center of its face, believed to be its nose.
Since its location, SCP-XXXX has been observed to travel constantly at around 5 inches per day towards the nearest settlement of more than 1000 people. So far, no methods of attempting to stop or redirect SCP-XXXX's movement have proven successful excluding protocol Theta-9, nor have any environmental obstacles such as mountains or cliffs that would normally be too sheer to climb. SCP-XXXX has also been observed to be able to continue its movement through obstacles such as concrete walls, metal plates, and more. In these situations, SCP-XXXX is simply able to walk through the substance by either breaking through it with its movements or by pushing it out of the way.
SCP-XXXX's primary anomalous ability comes into play when it comes within 100 meters or visual sight range of any human. In approximately 25% of these cases, depending on the distance and length of exposure, SCP-XXXX will shift its movements towards this subject and enter an active phase. During this active phase, SCP-XXXX will exponentially increase its movement speed over time, increasing by approximately 2 inches per day, per day. Upon reaching the subject, SCP-XXXX will use its large forearms to grasp the subject, with its arms moving far faster than the rest of its body, and will pin the subject to the ground. Once this has been achieved, SCP-XXXX will leak a currently unidentified black substance onto the face of the subject, at which point the subject becomes an instance of SCP-XXXX-A.
SCP-XXXX-A instances are similar in appearance to SCP-XXXX itself, however they remain approximately the same height and body shape as they were before the transformation occurred. The most notable changes are the color of the skin, extreme growth in the subjects arms, which extend to be approximately 90% of the instances height, and the removal of the subjects nose and mouth, leaving only their eyes. Unlike SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-A instances begin their lifespan extremely fast, being recorded at traveling at more than 160 km/h, and gradually slow down over their lifespan of approximately 2 weeks. During this time, SCP-XXXX-A instances will attempt to track down any person that made eye contact with them, and bring them to SCP-XXXX, at which point they will undergo the previously described procedure. At the end of their lifespan, SCP-XXXX-A instances will return to SCP-XXXX, at which point their body will turn into the black substance, which SCP-XXXX will absorb through its nostrils. It is currently unclear whether or not SCP-XXXX uses this substance as a form of sustenance or whether it serves some other purpose.
SCP-XXXX has been shown to be very resilient, but the usage of high caliber weaponry and explosives such as artillery shells has been shown to be effective at causing minor damage to its limbs and body and at slowing its movement while these injuries heal.
