Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5158 must be kept in a 5x5ft steel box with accoustic panels, and must be kept in extreme light at all times. No living entity other than Class-D personnel may enter the room without Blue light filtering sun and protective headphones.
Description: SCP-5158 is a Sony Trinitron tv from the early 70s that constantly emits a white noise so terrible that any human not wearing protective headphones will be driven insane. You may subdue the 5158 by playing its favorite song "Video Killed The Radio Star" by the Buggles. Any Living Entity who looks at the screen will be transported to a dimension in which their own worst nightmare will play out until the entity who will now be refered to as SCP-5158-1 passes away, an unknown entity will carry away the corpse and revive it so they can experience the nightmare again. This terrible scene is played on the television screen, which can be monitered if you wear some sort of blue light filtering glasses but is not recomended.
Addendum: SCP-5158 Is now contained at Site Z08 in [REDACTED] and is monitered by Dr.[REDACTED] and has been since containment. SCP-5158 was discovered in a cabin near the site of the Chernobyl disaster in Pripryat in 1998. Dr.[REDACTED] Died in 2017 during a test in which he thought would make comunication with SCP-5158 possible. sadly he tripped on a test wire and his bue light filtering glasses fell off and he got a look at the screen. He was never seen again.
