Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 is contained in an airtight 30x30x30 meters of steel with 1 meter thick walls. Since it cannot move or be moved by any known force, Research Site-XXXX has been built around it so it can be safely contained, to study its property’s and to fully understand what makes it tick. SCP-XXXX-1’s containment is to never be entered by a human any animal any living creature, only the cameras in its containment cell and the Air Density measurement tools are allowed inside the cell. Any SCP-XXXX-2 that SCP-XXXX-1 makes is to be released into an underground 100x100x100 steel airtight cell to not cause the air pressure inside to combust the container.
Any outside versions of SCP-XXXX-2 are to be kept in Disease control at Research Site-XXXX in an underground airtight bunker around 100 meters below the site. Animals infected with SCP-XXXX-2 are to be terminated and their corpses are taken to the bunker where they are quarantined. SCP-XXXX-2 can last 15 months without any sort of host. Any and all animals affected will be sent into the bunker with no food or water of any sort. The bunker is to be open for cleaning every 15 months by 3 D-Class personnel, they are to be left in the bunker after the cleaning to not risk a breach.
Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is the only known source of SCP-XXXX-2, It is a mass of dark fluid in the shape of a sphere that has a 16 meter diameter that releases SCP-XXXX-2 around it. The rate at which SCP-XXXX-2 has ejected out of SCP-XXXX-1 has increased by 72% since it’s discovery in 19██ and is expected to keep increasing 0.8% every year forward. It cannot be moved because every single force trying to push it fades straight through it, on top of that every animal, including humans that walk through it falls into a vegitive state, but still alive for 4 more weeks, no matter if they recovered or if they need to eat or drink, any and all forces that try to kill them before that 4 week time period has ended will not work.
SCP-XXXX-2 is a series of bacteria that can affect every animal tested so far, when it infects a human, it starts decomposition on the frontal cortex and around the skull, any person infected with SCP-XXXX-2 is to be terminated to reduce the spread. It’s very contagious when it’s around SCP-XXXX-1 but when it’s taken far away from the source. The symptoms are instant when it’s around SCP-XXXX-1 but away from it, it takes around 2-3 hours to kick in properly and the only way to test someone for SCP-XXXX-2 before any symptoms kick in would be to scan the blood and brain for SCP-XXXX-2. At the current time, there isn’t any cure for SCP-XXXX-2 and SCP-XXXX-2 has a 100% fatality rate no matter the distance from SCP-XXXX-1. Some of the other symptoms for SCP-XXXX-2 are as followed: Extreme Amnesia, Cluster Headaches, Slowed heartbeat and Inability to Speak more than a couple of words.
