The containment chamber supplies SCP-XXXX with a constant temperature of 1° C, This cold temperature helps SCP-XXXX keep it's vapor-like form

Description: SCP-xxxx is a gaseous, vapor-like entity. When interacted with, SCP-XXXX can speak, and change form into a small, humanoid with similar qualities described eariler. When spoken to, the voice of SCP-XXXX is that of a young girl of Approximately 12 years of age. The Foundation first contained the subject after citizens and officials of ████████, Washington, reported that a "spirit" had been haunting their town for weeks. Reports of non-violent "possessions" and manifestations of "spirits".

When interviewed, the mayor of the town told Foundation personnel the entity is likely the spirit of a little girl who died in a home invasion in January of 2001. The reasoning behind this, as the mayor said: "It [The Subject] often spoke to people about wanting to get help to finish it's science project."
The Father of the girl in question confirmed to the field agent that his daughter was indeed the voice behind the subject. The Mayor of the town, as well as 15 Citizens were administered Class-A Amnestics.
