"Hello, my name is _____."

This page is a draft for a safe anomalous object.

The SCP is a paper sticker. It is rectangular with rounded edges. The top half of the sticker is red with white text, which reads:

HELLO
my name is

The bottom half is white, but smudged, as if something was erased.

The effects of the SCP would be such that when worn on the skin or clothing while a name is written in the bottom area, all individuals (excluding those who are immune to mind-altering affects) would perceive the wearer as having that name. Titles and other descriptors, such as "important person," "CEO," or "MTF agent," do not have any effect, only names. The effect is retroactive, and putting on the sticker while talking to someone will not cause them to notice any change.

If the name is associated with someone known to an observer, they will acknowledge the wearer as that person, despite not seeing any change in physical appearance, voice, or other identifiers. If a contradiction is presented, such as side-by-side comparison, the observer will continue to perceive the wearer as having that name, although not the identity.

The effects end when the sticker is removed, but observers may not immediately notice the sudden shift in their perception of the wearer unless they attempt to recall their identity or name, as this is also retroactive.

Tunnels, Austria

This page is a draft for an SCP located in the fictional town of Veldzen, Austria.

The SCP is defined to be a system of narrow underground tunnels, the entrance of which is an iron gate located in an alleyway. The tunnels themselves may seem quite unremarkable, as to an unsuspecting person they look similar to a sewer or maintenance tunnel.

However, the anomalous nature of these tunnels arise from the fact that no two individuals see the same tunnel layout.

Notes:

• The tunnels are sometimes sloped, and can be partially flooded, though never more than ankle deep.
• Although people don't see the same paths, they do experience the same events: if a group goes down into the tunnels, and one splits off from the group, the others will acknowledge this. If someone trips, they acknowledge that too.
• Sometimes tunnels terminate into rooms.

• "Deeper" tunnels look older or even made of different materials.

• Other than bacteria, algae (in flooded areas), and mold, no life has been observed farther than 100 m into the tunnels.

Doorway

Some sort of wooden doorway with a partially damaged door, standing in the middle of a small room. The doorway can be moved. Looking through the open doorway reveals the rest of the room, as if the doorway was normal, except that no objects or living creatures can be viewed on the other side: the room is empty.
Records should show that an object object or individual that passes through the doorway vanishes on the other side, but can still be seen when looking through it, so long as the door is not closed. If the door is closed, opening it reveals that the space behind is now empty. Records of tests in which the door closes should show that the object or individual which passes through is unrecognizable (memetic effect).
Individuals who pass through the doorway can be communicated with (so long as the door hasn't been closed) and display no cognitive effects until they exit the doorway, after which they lose memory of having been "inside" the doorway.
